I regret that I am posting this but my wounds run deep and I was waiting for this moment.

Arunita, in her wildest thoughts would not be aware of it, but I think Sayli would.

Ever since Sony started belittling Arunita to promote Sayli till the time Sayli stood next to Arunita in the winner's enclosure I only saw equality created where none existed. And I think Sayli started to believe in it!

So, at this moment of time, when Arunita Kanjilal's solo crossed Sayli's duet with Danish in views, I felt some relief. Cheap relief. Aru should never be compared with Sayli, it is belittling her. But!

I am sorry I had to share this, but it was burning inside ever since Aru's song was released. This was the only target I had my eyes on. Sorry again. It is not Sayli's fault, it is the systems!

She is going to go far far ahead of everyone else. Sonu Nigam would not have agreed to sing with just any rookie. In my view that is a big endorsement even though he has not explicitly said so.

In my defense : Remember that song from Chaalbaaz - main tumse pyaar karoon mere aise to bure haalaat nahin. Itne bure haalaat nahin hai that I need to follow Danish 🤣. But I had searched for something a few days back and so his name is in my search history. IG shows a red circle when a new story is posted, even in the search results. So it was a coincidence that I clicked and found all these thank you notes 😆
