How much I wish unlike in kusum dola, makers should introduce some fresh characters!

Sai should really need a mentor who is a feminist, fearless and headstrong woman/man and she should understand sometimes her well wishers are also wrong.

Hoping makers won't turn her into Ashwini 2.0!

Only Pulkit understands Sai to a certain extent but they have made him a joke & flip flopper unfortunately. He understands abuse, domestic violence and presence of third person in their marriage.

They could have made him a useful character, infact on the Versions thread he's one of the fav characters for many from KD because he was a useful and meaningful character there. Here he's been turned into a random character mouthing angry and stupid dialogues from time to time and mouthing sense very rarely but never in an impactful manner.

Hated the precap, I think it's one of Ghum's worst character arcs. The level of manipulation attempted is so low! Have ranted about the same in EDT and Nja's thread. Don't want to rant here again, Gaali padegi har thread pe rant karungi to🙈

Instead of trying hard to show them as soulmates it would have been nice if they have pointed out at virat’s nd sai’s mistake being in relationship,, what went wrong in between them that they reached to a point where both of them are unable to express their feelings properly,, instead of virat to understand sai’s problem or talk he went ahead to lock her in the room nd sided with pakhi to insult her.. these things were brushed under carpet without proper closure,, as I was expecting from ashwini to side with sai in a true sense as mother not just as MIL who is still thinking how to save his son’s marriage or love,, why no one is giving a second thoughts to sai’s point of view also,, she has just met with accident nd is on the road of recovery nd these people are talking about her not to move away from virat otherwise something bad will happen to him,, stressing her unnecessary,,, without virat’s proper redemption it is hard to believe sairat as soulmates,,,

nd one question to ashwini... sai is an orphan no one is there to look after her if she will move away nd that is why she needs virat but can’t ashwini help sai without her being in relation with virat, not divorce but time being separated then ashwini will help sai or ask her to come back even at the moment sai doesn’t want to..?? Isn’t it this would have been nice if ashwini would have supported sai in her all decisions and would have made her to see virat as husbands not as mentor but slowly not just after operation,,, but here ashwini has proved to be virat’s mother more than sai’s

Sai nd virat both need space nd time to realise each others importance in their life and more than that sai nd virat both has to realise their relationship as husband nd wife other than just a zimmedari,, but these things need to be taken slowly nd with proper track but here maker are rushing to show us that they are true soulmate just after sai’s moving out from chavans,, which many of us are not able to digest this crap so early 🤔

I think Rono's aai in KD was a very different character to Ashwini in Ghum. I think I read in the all version thread at one point when Emon left prior to the accident she said she would also leave CN and go with Emon. I am really starting to detest Ashwini character, but also the portrayal of her. She is too OTT with her crying and emotional blackmailing. Even if they did not want to show her supporting Sai leaving Virat, she could have at least told her to think carefully about her decision and she will support her, rather than asking her if she can bear it if something happens to Virat due to some fake kismet connection that Devi mentioned.

I am genuinely scared of Vanku's creativity. 🤡🤣

The only thing I liked about the episodes was, Sai changing V to Aaba...With the way he deals with his ex, he does not deserve his name written thre on the paper...And my girl stopped at the right time. Took control of her emotions and wrote the name that she knows would have been her anchor in this situation..FOr Virat from Sai's perspective it would look like, she got in the accident and he feels bad for her and out of responsibility he is taking care of her...just like she did when Virat was injured, forgetting everything that happened between them. Sai still is denying her feelings for him and rightly so.

Psychiatrist all the while was giving BS statements...It looked like she is some old school marriage counsellor, who called domestic violence abuse and in-laws who treat her so badly as people who cant show their love.And whats with Aaba chose that man, first of all he did not and second if at all he did, does it mean she needs to stay with that man, even though he abuses her to keep her Aaba's faith? Psychiatrist 👎🏼👎🏼. Useless!!

Another thing I loved here was, unlike Imon , Sai wants to get well, Sai wants to study and Sai wants to become a doctor. Unlike Imon Sai wants to 'live'. She gets weak , vulnerable but the Sai Joshi in her is intact. I also liked the fact that inspite of she having seen a better Virat wants to go back to GC...She knows he cares for her, his anger is all gone, but it will get back to being the same thing again. And I think this time she had lost a lot of strength in dealing with it all and cannot anymore..Sai also has been insisting that all this affects her college , her studies unlike Imon. And the poor girl is manipulated by Ashwini yet again.She would get back again for Virat Chavan. 👎🏼

For all who think Ashwini considers Sai as her daughter and prefers her over Virat. Well this episode is an answer...Any mother would want the daughter to stay separately for some days, from the husband the family that has harassed her. She went through so much and yet in that vulnerable condition Ashwini goes on to manipulate her with that "Sai Virat sath rehne chaiye" BS" , Virat ko kuch ho jayega". This woman wants Sai to be her other version. Bas. Killing her spirit bit by bit, in the name of love, marriage and family. The entire Chavan clan is selfish and emotional manipulators.😡

That is why , I keep saying this girl has no one who thinks about her beyond Virat. None. The only person who might do so, who might see her beyond Virat, is Virat himself , but then he does it only when he sees her in this vulnerable condition. Other days he is wallowing in self pity and is self absorbed.

The fact that nothing was talked about Patralekha and Virat's relationship, proves that Sai's insecurities would never be dealt with...Neither by Virat or anybody in the house...She would be made to believe she was wrong and would be made to live with it. And Virat would keep going on with his holier-than-thou attitude by keeping his sabse pyaari cheez in one pocket and wife in other...insulting/demeaning the two as per his convenience...👏👏

Exactly my point,, she should give sai sometimes to think nd supports her decision instead of emotional blackmailing,, nd virat too needs sometimes to value sai’s presence in his life,, only then there would have been beautiful scene between sairat but makers are in hurry to show them as soulmates without proper story,,, hame kya karna hai jab acha lagega dekh lenge warna we can switch to other show any time 😊

Fully agree, although this whole soulmates thing has been the story since the very start of the show with the whole dandelion landing on their shoulders scene! If anything, it could be said its the only thing the makers have been consistent about 🤣

Yes this soulmates was from beginning but those episodes were really beautiful,, there was no love but there was respect, trust nd understanding between them nd that has made sairat beautiful,, sai’s innocence virat’s maturity nd understanding,, everything was so wonderful then makers butchered virat’s character nd sai too to some extent,, and after 300 episodes they remembered their soulmates story 😳 so consistent 🤓🤣
