He is currently in a weak phase, high on emotions along with the alcohol withdrawal symptoms.
He might hide things from Pallavi fearing she might fight with him or leave him, and he doesn’t have the strength to fight right now. Besides, he himself is confused and is looking out for answers.
Or it could simply be he is playing along with Esha, to get the truth out from her?

He is in a confused state, high on emotions because when Esha left him, that chapter was stil incomplete. And now, he thinks Esha left him for his own good, so theres a guilt feeling too.
He might hide from Pallavi about this incident, fearing she might leave him or that she will be hurt. Which means RaghVi relationship isn’t that strong yet, he is still insecure. This track will help strengthen RaghVi bond, and for him to overcome his insecurities, fears, and eventually become Pallavi’s Raghav Rao in the truest sense. His wound needs to heal completely.

Trust and transparency these are the basis of any relationship and here he doesn’t trust her and also not transparent with her so forget a stronger bond there’s no bond at all between them as far as Ragahv is concerned . All I can see here is her being his emotional crutch his solace after he messes things up by his foolish , impulsive and arrogant actions and she’s always on the receiving end . Ofcourse he’s going to change but not b4 Pallavi leaves him for his dishonesty and emotional cheating and goes somewhere far away from him . He needs to feel her absence and realize that his mistake and repent for it big time and May be then only he’ll change himself for her . I was always against Pallavi in a way for putting so much pressure on him to change overnight but when he himself promised to her about not drinking ever for her and then picked up the glass as soon as his ex asked that’s the end of his character for me . This is not the Raghav Rao we were introduced to since day 1 . Yes he did break his promise to the woman he claims to love the most for another woman and that’s all I saw . Thanks 😊
