I was being very lenient. Even a pliant girl will be fine only if he is atleast not a cheater. Right now Virat's morals and character definitely seems questionable. If he has a propensity to cheat, no good-hearted girl deserves a life with him.
I'm not sure if it is just about getting enamoured (no doubt she is attracted to him) ...I think it has got more to do with Sai having no one. Also, the way Sai herself is....she was completely dependent on her aaba...he was her entire world. It is very natural for her to want to want to fill the void left by her father....make Virat her world. And Virat can be a very attentive husband when he wants to be. She will take a few years to become stronger....and to come out of Virat's shadows...
Ofcourse virat is very much flawed ..he has too much of superiority complex .. .. a saviour syndrome.. which even Sai has ..they both like doing things their way ..
Sai has not been exposed to the world no doubt .. but I am saying this with my experience in the academic world .. it’s a topper syndrome .. especially among Indian females
The people who top on academic areas .. tend to look down on as a partner to other folks .. that’s why we see iim graduates marrying their own alumni..
A lot of them end up in an unhappy life .. as. They fail to look beyond academic achievements in their prospective partner .. the way Indian upbringing has been .. other things are looked down upon ..
Sai would have done very well with a complacent Mohit , or samrat type of partner .. one who understands her and let’s her take the lead .. but she would never give them the chance .. even jagtap ( if he was a not a criminal / drug addict ) would have kept her on a pedestal but her father and Sai scoffed him away ..
Sai ( and her father ) involuntarily agreed to get married to virat ..because of his qualifications as an UPSC topper ( Sai herself has mentioned it ) her mind accepted him as a suitable match for her ..
The Caucasians don’t think like this .. but Indians do unfortunately
