I hope that they show Kajol loving him out of her own consent and not because he makes her.

Right now, even though Anurag is loving and caring towards her but that still should not automatically mean that she should love him.

She is the sole earner for the family, has to repay the debtors, has the responsibility of four younger siblings and most importantly a lot of pride.

I am sure that when the time comes she may have to refuse him due to all these reasons and it wouldn’t be fair to demonise her for it.

I agree. If and when Kajol falls in love with Anurag, should be totally her call. I dont want her to fall for him becoz of all the help he is giving her behind the scenes, coz I am sure tht issue will arise too.

Kajol has been through deceit when Arjun is concerned, she lost her father due to all the circumstances surrounding her marriage, now she has become the sole earner of the family with lots of responsibilities on her tiny shoulder. In such a situation no girl is going to think abt love , romance and marriage for the time being. Would love for them to keep it real.

But at the same time, I do not mind seeing Anurag falling for her more and more with each passing day and how he copes with his new found feelings of love. He is sooo cute by the way.

Also I would love to see Kajol becoming stronger, so tht she can give these brainless ppl like Chondana and Naina back with interest. I am tired of seeing her getting insulted by her own mother and useless sister.

Yes I couldn't agree more. I wanted the the show to be about her journey and Anurag acting as her friend, guide, support system and eventual lover but it seems that they are making it more of a love story. The promos and even the initial interviews with Mishkat before he dropped out hinted at a story of perseverance and struggle but here there are only love triangles, saazish and negativity galore. Anyway hopefully we see her succeeding in business and then going on to establish a singing career because I have felt from the first episode that that eventually would be her career. And Leena Gangopadhyay does tend to give a musical career to many of her characters whether main or side. I think the influence of Rabindra Sangeet on Bengal is visible in her writing. Plus she has been using a lot of patriarchal tropes like concept of beauty and girls not working or having a musical career or even widows being apshaguni in this show. The ghisi piti mentality of many characters has been highlighted specially if you see Arjun's attitude "no one is going to love Kajol" or "younger sister will get married and elder sister will remain unmarried" as something shameful and embarassing. I hope it is to build the narrative and highlight the character's (Kajol) struggle like she has done in many of the Bengali shows she has written.

I must say tht today I was pleasantly surprised at Karans acting. He nailed the emotional scenes amazingly.

Today Anurag let himself go and became all emotional. So much so tht even tht creep Arjun realized something is wrong with Anurag.

And what right does Arjun have to question what rishta Anurag and Kajol share ??? He is a freaking nobody at this point. A bloody outsider who just sticks his nose where he shouldnt.

What rishta does he have with the Mukherjees for him to be there....

I hope Anurag kicks his A$* when it comes to Kajol. He wants to marry Naina....well maybe he should, so tht Kajol at least is free from one idiot

That is the point I guess. Arjun is the creep who hates Kajol and wants to exact revenge and Anurag is her supporter. Anurag and Arjun will go at each other and Anurag will be Kajol's shield. Negative character is meant to interfere warna story kaise aage badhegi. But I had hoped the budding feelings of Anurag towards Kajol would remain a secret from Arjun for a little while more so that we could see their proper development and not a rushed work like it is feeling now. It is sweet but a little fast for my taste. Now kebab mein haddi (Arjun) knows Anurag cares about Kajol and will certainly try to create problems there, I think they did this for the TRP as this week was the lowest for the show since it's premiere.

I also liked how detached and self centred Arjun was in this scene and also he so readily believed that Kajol is dead. I am glad that they are not showing a psycho romantic interest in Kajol on his part because that would be just obvious and clichéd. However his fake concern and also his mind running to figure out Anurag's presence and role were on point.

Today the guy who stole the show however was Karan Suchak but I think Harshad Arora also did play his part as evil Arjun to perfection.

And I also liked the guy who plays Rajesh ( Arsh Merchant) btw I feel he is very underappreciated but his role is also pivotal in this show.

Hope the show gets on track regains lost TRP and goes on to show us more of Kajol's journey with a lot of Anjol and a little bit of evil Arna (Arjun- Naina) and a sudhari hui Chandana because I can't stomach the evil Chandana right now.

So happy to finally see Ishita back on the show.

She was hardly missing for 3 episodes I think but it felt like forever.

Looking forward to Kajol’s journey, loads of Anjol and Arjun’s drama.

I had also hoped tht Anurags feelings for Kajol would remain a secret for a while especially from creepy Arjun.

But the moment I saw him at the Mukherjee residence and Anurag going for identification, I knew they would clash. But at least Kajol has a strong support system in Anurag, coz Anurag is not a guy who sways easily from here to there. Also Kajol has the support of Rajesh....very underrated as someone mentioned, but a good actor as well. And then we have Pishimaa who just cannot seem to stand Arjun at all. The rest of Kajols family is just useless and waste of time.

Cant the Chacha go and do some work to help with the expenses of the house ??? Or at least help with the printing press. All these ppl do is make Kajol do all the hard work and they want their araam ki zindagie.

Anurag was sooo right today to show them the mirror, but I am not sure if it will have any effect on them especially Naina, coz they are such a selfish bunch of ppl.

Pishimaa was on point too by blasting Chondana.....Chondana is another useless character who have become very hard to digest lately.

So lets see where this face off btwn Anurag and Arjun leads to. I am still hoping tht Arjun marries Naina, so she can make his life hell.

Great post...yes, Arjun has worked out 2 & 2 make 4 and he and Anurag will go head to head now...Kajol totally oblivious brcause right now her attention is on earning for the family, paying back loan & protecting Nania who does not deserve it.

Chandana; I.dont know what to make of her...perhaps thinking that Kajol died may make her change her behaviour buy Nania will probably twist her emotions.

On the one hand I want a positive mother role on the other hand the viewer in me says you cant have 100% totally supportive family so it may be that Chandana plays a negative role until such.time as she is reedeemed.

Either way Nania suits Arjun 100%. She knows aboyt EMA with Shreya and she is confident enough she can fight for Arjun.

What I dont want is for suddenly Arjun to become obsessive about Kajol.

Same here. I find the comedy between Anjol divine...more on Anurag's part as he is sooo hoplessly gone but the comedy and humour is done very well ...esp with his aunt Sharmilla who likes Kajol anyway

Ahhhh it warrm my little heart to think that the 1st name that comes to mind on Kajol is that of Dr Anurag Basu

I too was hoping Anurag's feeling would remain under wraps for a while.

How soon is it for love anyway? It may be love or a very strong emotional feeling on his part. Who am I to say how soon it is? It is whatever it is on his part. One thing for sure he is falling for her & this is a new feeling for him.

His sure certainty that Kajol was not dead and the relief his heart felt on seeing her...I really connected with his emotions...well.done to Actor KS.

Other than Arjun who will put 2 & 2 together is Sharmilla his Aunt who wants a girl like Kajol as her bahu anyway and Nania will figure it out as will Priyanka..the last to know will.be Kajol😃

For me I am going back to the almost wedding scene with Kajol & Arjun...sorry dont know which epi no...and she is doing the rounds with some holy leaves covering her eyes ...and as her hands lower the leaves from her eyes to gaze on her groom, the first person she sees however is not Arjun, its Anurag who came into the background...oh and that beautiful mantra playing Bhagwan Vishnu💖 that scene did it for me & more or less confirmed by cvs that end game is Anurag and Kajol

..at least I hope so😘
