That is because in his mind, he has cleared everything with Patralekha and the entire family. So he expects people to see them 'just as friends'. That pea sized brain refuse to see the different side and he lets Patralekha interfere between him and Sai.

Plain Truth.. Patralekha is responsible for the galatfehmi between Virat and Sai..

But Virat be like...

One thing is very clear.Noone in this show will be allowed to badmouth the character Patralekha .If they do they would either be hushed up or manipulated .The makers will make sure they will do that .Such is the power of a parallell lead in this show. In this process we have completely lost the beauty of Sairat. I don't want Sai to be back in CN, I really don't. Sai should not agree to go back. But alas that is what will happen and Pakhi will continue to have power over Sairat's life.😭
