An idea of Anokhi’s that Ss liked ….a cake apt for a professor. Inspite of Anokhi’s efforts Ss comes to know that Anokhi is the one behind the idea. Thanks to Pammi Aunty. His eyes were only searching for an excuse to look at her. What a perfect chance !!

Why does everyone feed him with spoon whereas he feeds them with his hands? This is my genuine doubt. Is this something owing to corona? Or a Shaurya thing?

Thanks to sisters enthusiastic act of applying cake and Shaurya’s secret glance at Anokhi arranging tables which gives another reason for him to go to her.

In the whole scene he looks so restless and disturbed. Is it the weight of the guilt that’s making him feel so or something that he started feeling and being pulled towards her? They both constantly looking at each other from far gave off a different vibe. For Anokhi it has always been a puzzle as to how anyone can be rude and hurt their mother. Anokhi is silently observing and trying to figure out what Ss is like. First thing she comes to know that he is not being his real self before his family lying about his dance skills.

I don’t understand the Sabherwal’s mindset discriminating dil from daughters. Both are women, both are human, anyone’s actions can bring a bad name to their family. Then hiw is it that dil dancing with her husband bring any disgrace while the daughters wearing revealing clothes fine?

Ss just lightens the situation by asking BM to let kanchan dance and enjoy as it’s his birthday end every one should be enjoying. Thank god the Sabherwal’s so called age old orthodox thoughts are not imbibed in him except for his slightly misogynistic attitude owing to his childhood and upbringing.

His eyes looking around one last time trying their luck as he leaves and they find her. A meaningful conversation trying to sort out their differences where each was right in their own perspective each unaware of the circumstances that they were brought up in( a direct result for their respective attitude towards dealing with situations). Inspite of all that Anokhi has gone through a couple of hours before she has the audacity to take Astha’s name in front of SS?

Ss: tujhe ulajhna Pasand Hain..,referring to interfering in his personal matters

Anokhi.. sab Ka apna nazariya hotha Hain.. but then why does she not follow the same? Understand that and leave him alone? But no..

Ss- that was an honest mistake.., yes that was really not intended .. and that's the only way he knows how to vent out his frustration.

Anokhi... Pain tho pain hee hotha Hain ..kaam ek hee kartha hain. That's true and as Anokhi said you can learn from bad experiences is also true but provided you are given a chance. Foe Anokhi it was her mother and sister who supported her sail through the bad experiences( she helped herself as well) but for ss the bad experience was intentionally turned worse by poisoning his mind with hatred for Astha. So his situation is completely different which Anokhi is unaware of.

He does convey his sorry indirectly for stopping her to attend the class because he really feels for it but for throwing vase he just says it wasn't intended and it's true. Ss- is riled up enough because of Anokgi's Astha jaap that it directly hit on Astha when she made an appearance and he believed that everything she told wasjust a made up story. Astha should have listened to what Shaan advised and shouldn't have met him on his birthday. His birthday isn't a happy occasion for him unlike for others as it reminds him of the bitter memories.

It leaves me thinking just like Anikhi on sindoor day why he as an adult hasn't given a thought of the circumstances in which Astha might have left him and Shaan.

And your take on their comfort is so on point. There's awareness at some points when they're in each other's space, but overall they've unknowingly given each other some haq. He feels he can quiet her down and handle her and help her. He also thinks he can yell at her and she should understand him. They both have these expectations of each other. Intimacy is building!

there is a dialogue which Anokhi says about getting something good from bad experiences which he must have ignored. This reminds me of Anokhi herself. How she was the good that came out of his 'bad' experience with Aastha and he kept ignoring her for long.

I like that he realizes this later. Remember after the proposal in the garden, he acknowledges that Aastha brought Anokhi into his life. It all comes full circle. His bad experiences got him a great gift of unconditional love.

"ruko, ye sira maine nahi dekha tha, deka jaise dikha sab sort ho gaya"

I totally forgot about this line. It's perfect!

Absolutely...this unique unsaid haq. You know had I not known Anokhi's character is so blunt and to the point maybe it would not have felt that way. But they are 2 characters who know how to maintain boundaries and yet chose to be comfortable with each other!
