Its actually ridiculous that the whole cast/crew, makers everyone thinks pp's behavior is justified n that she's just a "grey" character. Only us audience see her as a villain who is utterly pathetic, malignant, scum, desperate, sl**y, stupid, malicious.
I have not seen KD, but read somewhere that RK used to get some sympathy and benefit of doubt. She was liked by some of the audience.
Here the actor does not emote well... Her expressions are too aggressive even in scenes where she can be a bit soft... Her body language, dialogue delivery is pathetic. So you can feel no sympathy for her. She actually comes across as l***y, vindictive, proper villain material. I don't know if it is pure actor's fault (directors are anyways not of any use) or the writers intend to write that character that way but don't want to accept it.
I think their motive was to show V-P as star crossed lovers, having deep emotional connect, like they did in other shows like KZK.... Sai, being the brash one doesn't fit into the ITV trope of bahus, so P with her one sided love story would work... However, Sai was a fresh change, accepted whole heartedly... PP is a hated character... Hence, to pacify actor and maybe to justify whatever would have been narrated to her initially, they need these frequent interviews.
