Let's relive SAAKK Season 1 together from the beginning, as we manifest a Season 2 together!

Shaurya realises that Anokhi has gone to a lot of trouble for celebrating his birthday, and keeps trying to catch her attention, but the latter after the bouquet event does not want to have anything to do with him, though she cannot help herself from peeping at him. Ye dil kya kare...

Devi as usual is all eyes and ears and meddles in everything, whether it is Kanchan dancing whilst 'ghar ki beti' are not, or when the students are asking Shaurya to dance. she is a control type of person whose son should only do as she says. Even Tej is more lenient. Coming to Tej and Alok, they are fun to watch when dancing.

Finally when Shaurya catches Anokhi the conversation is enlightening, in that

-Shaurya shows remorse for his action -whether it is the bouquet or throwing her out of classroom and does apologise. It does not stop him from letting Anokhi know she has a habit of entangling herself, but the latter is all about fending for herself and taking care of her problems, of course she messes up the lights more. Shaurya reproaches her for showing an attitude which she counteracts with the fact that it is better than a wound. Shaurya feels that remark and then our lovely Jo Tera Howega starts ... The makers have a tendency to put in this music at the appropriate time to catch the chemistry between the two.

Of course Anokhi spoils it with her aastha ma'am jaap. She is neither right nor wrong. From her perspective a lot of young people have problems with their parents but it does not imply being impolite to them. this is how she has been brought up. But she does not know Shaurya's situation so cannot compare. Shaurya does mention this, but Anokhi comes back with pain is pain. This is an easy way of getting out of a situation, but here I believe Shaurya is right in his stand. He advises Anokhi to give the message to aastha that their is no relationship and he is also not interested to have one.

Now Aastha who has ignored her son for 25 years springs a surprise on shaurya and comes to wish him, and decides on the spot that he needs to listen to her for her part of the story. The first time I watched this part I was very angry with Shaurya for the way he was speaking, saying tum. Now on reflection, I ask myself, why should he listen to her?

Ok, suppose she was not shot and was not in Chandigar, would she have behaved in a similar fashion?

He does tell her to move away if she does not want to be insulted, but does she listen?

More to come tomorrow...

Amazing analysis 👏

Whenever Jo Tera Howega plays I can't take off my eyes from them

And that time Anokhi was too much about Aastha mam jaap. I mean I also feel at that moment Shaurya was right.

Even I don't like when he insulted Aastha. But he gave warning he controled himself at last he blasted and it's natural. It's completely my POV😳

So true. While watching those episodes we all were irritated with Anokhis Astha mam and Maa jap. I felt sorry for Astha but I didn't feel Shaurya was totally wrong. You can't expect him to accept everything all of a sudden. Asthas timing was wrong.

If anyone is to be blamed it's Devi. But in the last episode Devi and Tej were given clean cheat so easily.

Overall very nice episode. Miss Bhalla ka dimag kharab hai🤣 And best part Anokhi giving back to Devi. Her courier service is only for Astha Shaurya and not Devi😆

The entire episode starts with Shaurya's guilt. He knows he had made a mistake and he wants to apologize but he also has the Saberwal ego which wont let him do that without attitude or ego :P

He keeps running to get a little alone time with Anokhi. This makes me think why is he so uncomfortable that Anokhi does not know that it was an honest mistake? Why is his mind only on her? The first time Anokhi evades him , he displaces his guilt on her in terms of anger.

The dance party was cute. It was funny to see two things (1) Devi is obsessing over Anokhi as she used to do with Aastha. (2) Saberwaals are stupid enough to feel that a couple should not dance. The way Shaurya diffused the situation so that his younger brother could dance a little, again makes me think, what does shaurya feel about his family's traditions?

Also, why is the entire fam is dancing now when Devi just looked down upon this like 1 min ago? everyone has amnesia now?

There scene where Devi confidently says that shaurya does not dance and Anokhi remembers their dance is again an indication towards how Anokhi does know him better. The entire sequence of hiding and glancing at each other was really beautifully shot according to me!

Shaurya is leaving and yet he stays back to see if he can find Anokhi. And the universe conspires and Anokhi gets stuck and has no way out? Surprising is it not, for two people who annoy each other, Shaurya always lands to help out Anokhi. The dialogues in this conversation are one of the best in the series

"Vaise toh humesha gusse mein rehte hai aap"

"Har baat pe nahi, jo baatein galat hoti hai bas unpe"

"It was an honest mistake"

"Haan, galti karne ke baat sab aaisa hi kahte hai"

"Main sab jaisa nahi hoon, okay?"

"Listen, apna aur mera pain compare karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai"

Pain toh pain hi hota hai na sir, alag naam ho sakta hai pain ka, ya koi alag nature ho sakta hai, lekin kaam toh ek hi karta hai, dil dukhane ka"

"Bahut kuch life bhi sikha deti hai sir, agar koi insaan seekhna chhaye toh"

"Lekin vo zaroori nahi hai ki vo saare lessons acche ho, some are just bad experiences"

"ruko, ye sira maine nahi dekha tha, deka jaise dikha sab sort ho gaya"

Notice how Shaurya ends tangling his own self with her while helping her out. I love the struggle he undergoes to try and say sorry but still does not say it directly. This majorly changes in the bridge scene because his feelings evolve and he just cant let go. the arguments and counter are beautifully done here.there is a dialogue which Anokhi says about getting something good from bad experiences which he must have ignored. This reminds me of Anokhi herself. How she was the good that came out of his 'bad' experience with Aastha and he kept ignoring her for long. The dialogue about not seeing one end and then finding it and making everything okay feels like a cue to the Shaurya- Aastha tragedy!

What i did not like that while anokhi got Aastha into the conversation, it got diverted earlier. Then she again agitated him by bringing up Aastha and telling him he has to accept her as he cannot change that truth. That was a very insensitive thing to say when you don't know the context. Anokhi clearly is showing blind faith and Shaurya is agitated beyond measure.

since Ms. Bhalla agitates Shaurya, his already angry mind, loses all his cool looking at his mother. Honestly, instead of starting from a sorry she says lets do something fun/different? Has she lost her mind? I know Aastha is desperately trying to tell him the truth but how can she expect him to believe her after 25 years of conditioning? Her words agitate Shaurya further and it will all culminate in something horrible.

Side note 1 : I also noticed something, Anokhi actually annoys Shaurya to the point of extreme anger that he ends up making some hot headed mistake and then guilt trips him for that mistake. 🤪🤪🤪

Side note 2 : Anokhi and Shaurya are very comfortable with each other in a physical sense. Today again i felt she was aware of him for a couple of seconds when he was getting her to calm down. When he removes her hair to pull the last string of the stuck fairy-light, the action seems very intimate and yet both of them are comfortable. Best part they don't even realize this!

wow yar. you write so nicely. I enjoyed watching Shaurya Anokhi scenes during those initial episodes. I used to find that angry irritated Shaurya very cute and Anokhi ka kya kahena. She wasnt aware of her impact on him. Bhashan deti raheti hai😆

When he removes her hair to pull the last string of the stuck fairy-light, the action seems very intimate.❤️❤️

It was such a romantic moment ......

but miss bhalla spoiled it again🤣I found it funny the way Shaurya was turning her around like a doll by himself when he could ask her to turn. The dialogues were too good. I watch this episode so many times. I love them in Tom and Jerry mode more than romantic scenes. They look cute while fighting.

Thankyou!

Yes, I miss these conversation. Where they logically argue and counter argue. Where they are right in their own way. How they don't realise the pull between them...the slow awareness

Shaurya's Birthday Day #2

Shaurya is so preoccupied during his entire party. I really like that he has this level of remorse when it comes to his wrong actions. He might have a hard time apologizing, but we are shown that he is regretful of his actions. It makes it easier to side with him, even when we know he's wrong. I like that Anokhi thwarts his attempts to talk to her. That boy does not like to be ignored!!

The party scenes are cute(Sadi Gali plays). The family tries their best to maintain that façade of "happy family". We can see that Shaurya is loved by his family and also his students. But does the man have friends though? Or are they a hidden part of his life, like his dancing skills. Anokhi got a sense that Shaurya is not what he seems by that Devi dialogue. I believe it's these little things that make Anokhi intrigued about him.

The conversation between Anokhi and Shaurya are of my favorites. The location is beautiful with those fairy lights and the way it's captured is so memorable. The conversation was different from the rest so far. It had a mix of tashan, humor, and understanding. I love the voice modulation done by both Deba and KV as the scene goes on. ShaKhi start annoyed with each other and slide into trying to understand each other.

Some memorable lines:

"It was an honest mistake" "Galti karne ke baad, har koyi aisi kehata hai" "Main sab jaisa nahi hoon" Why does he want to be special and unique??

"Interesting" As he stands back and watches her trying to untangle herself. So much humor in so few words.

"Sorry?" "Wohi" He's unable to say the words and apologize properly, but also can't stand that she shows him attitude.

"Mere liye janam deni wali aur ma, do alag baatein hai" I hate that Anokh is so adamant that Aastha is his mother. He doesn't deny that she gave birth to him. He denies that she lived up to the role of mother; WHICH SHE DID BY NOT SEEING HIM FOR 25 YEARS!! He surprisingly doesn't yell at Anokhi, but tries to make her understand that she hasn't experienced what he has, even though she insinuates that she's experienced something similar.

"Apna aur mera pain compare karne ki koyi zaroorat nahi hai" "Pain to pain hi hota hai...alag naam, alag nature..kaam to ek hi karta hai, dil dukhane ka" I know we keep saying that she doesn't treat him like a professor. But he also doesn't treat her like a student. How many professors share their feelings with their students? I love that he's sensitive enough to share that he's been hurt. She validates his hurt but won't let him feel unique in his experience.

"Life sikha deti hai..agar koyi seekhna chahe to" "Lekin woh zaroori nahi hai, woh saare lessons sahi ho, ache ho; some are just bad experiences" I really like the fact that they were trying to understand each other.

This conversation with the OST weaving in and out was beautifully done.

The Shaurya conversation with Aastha was long overdue.....but place and timing sucked! I can't believe she came to say 'happy birthday. She got the right reply from Shaurya, "Konse angle se happy lag raha hai aapko". After a day of containing his unhappiness, all his anger spills out. I hated the way he described himself. "4 saal aap khush thi ek khilone ke saath, bore ho gayi to phek diya kachre ke dabbe me". That kind of childhood trauma has destroyed Shaurya's sense of self. To be an "unwanted" child who is easily disposed of when interest wanes. He seems to spend a lot of time making sure no one else becomes disinterested or leaves him behind(this also shows in his desperation during at the sidoor shaadi). He did try to get her to leave, she's the one who is relentless. She did try to tell her truth, but she has no credibility.

Side notes:

~ Devi calling Kanchan besharam for dancing with her husband and then comparing her to the precious twins is so messed up. I'm glad Shaurya intervened and stopped Devi from interfering.

~ I'm sooooo hyped for the OST to be released in Deba's voice!! 🥳

I noted the same thing that he shows remorse, but I don't think he ever actually apologizes. He thinks that she should understand that the anger wasn't directed at her. But the man chokes at having to actually say the words 'sorry'.

You're soooooo right, the music really heightens the scene. And the lyrics are so apt!

Shaurya is very direct about Aastha, but it's the relentlessness of Anokhi that frustrates him and pushes him over the edge. I don't want to use such words but Anokhi and Aastha really did bring it on themselves. They lit a bomb and then were surprised by the carnage after.

I totally agree that the ShaKhi conversation had such gems in terms of dialogue. And the slow build up to it was done well. His preoccupation and her avoidance. I also find it amusing that he did not actually apologize.

And your take on their comfort is so on point. There's awareness at some points when they're in each other's space, but overall they've unknowingly given each other some haq. He feels he can quiet her down and handle her and help her. He also thinks he can yell at her and she should understand him. They both have these expectations of each other. Intimacy is building!

there is a dialogue which Anokhi says about getting something good from bad experiences which he must have ignored. This reminds me of Anokhi herself. How she was the good that came out of his 'bad' experience with Aastha and he kept ignoring her for long.

I like that he realizes this later. Remember after the proposal in the garden, he acknowledges that Aastha brought Anokhi into his life. It all comes full circle. His bad experiences got him a great gift of unconditional love.

"ruko, ye sira maine nahi dekha tha, deka jaise dikha sab sort ho gaya"

I totally forgot about this line. It's perfect!
