I wasn't surprised with tamarind because it's a Gul show. I've watched pretty much everything she's made and she has a pattern, like with EK shows. Her only show that somehow managed to surprise me was the one that used to air on sony up until a few weeks ago (Ishk par zor nahi) but got pulled off air because apparently originality and progressive themes don't bring TRPs (same tragedy as MHRW)😳 That's also why I'm constantly worried about our TRPs. Channels don't give two hoots to anything other than numbers.
