Yeh Rishta to have a grand cast?

Seems like RS uncle is going to pull off ITV's Om Shanti Om with a grand cast .

Currently the following names are doing the rounds on SM for the lead roles, parallel leads,supporting and cameos:

1) Harshad Chopda( either Kairav or the new ML)

2) Namik Paul( Kairav/New ML)

3) Pranali Rathod( Akshara)

4) Riya Sharma

5) Alice Kaushik

6) Helly Shah

7) Rhea

8) Kanwar Dhillon

9) Helly Shah

10 Debattama Saha

11) Ashnoor Kaur

12) Siddharth Nigam

News about Alice Kaushik and Kanwar dhillon is probably wrong because they both are in the show pandya store.

I don't know about the rest

But if ashnoor does join it would make sense since akshu (if akshu is going to be fl) is naira's daughter. And young naira was played by her.

I also heard about Siddharth nigam and avneet

And Adaa khan

They may cast Jennifer opposite Harshad in case he is playing Kairav.Thu Thu uncle has that bargaining power. Ashnoor Kaur may play Akshara if they take a 16-18 something leap and put the main focus on Kairav.Kairav and Akshu have so many cousins.They need a good supporting cast too. Avneet may be Aarohi I guess .

Yeah just checked.Dhillon and Kaushik are currently doing Pandya store.But there were some tweets on SM saying Dhillon is being considered for Krish's role and Kaushik would be cast opposite him.Cameos maybe.

LMAO I do find the news of harshad being locked for role of kairav believable, but everything else like with alice and kanwar is obviously made up news.

One thing for sure is, if harshad plays kairav, then most of our hopes of kairav being made the lead and not being sidelined like naksh was will become true. Despite naksh being the OG couple's first-born, he was completely sidelined in favour of making their daughter and her love interest the lead because that's the typical route of itv when it comes to generation leaps, that the daughter of the original leads is made the new lead. But I'm really hoping this time rajan doesn't ignore the lead pair's son.

Would be great if they have a good story instead of a grand cast 🙄
