"Pyaar ki pyaas" - this is the phrase I was reminded after reading this chapter from Nishit's POV.
Kirti took the first step and called him, met him. But Nishit outright rejected her friendship. Though I felt bad for Kirti, I hope she does not give up on him so soon. I hope she tries to find out the reasons for his behaviour.
He has been there for her, at certain times, even when she has been rude towards him. I hope she keeps that in mind.
I guess Nishit has gone into some kind of depression. Do his parents know that he is seeing a psychiatrist? Maybe, the parents need to have therapy sessions too, so that they can help him in a positive way instead of pushing their own agenda which might bring more negative effects.
Nishit apparently missed his mom's love and affection right from young age.
I remember once Prasanna too said that she used to get intimate with interns working under her father to attract attention from her parents. Obviously both kids missed their parents.
And then Nishit gets attached/attracted to Kirti and looked for some kind of affection from her. Unfortunately here, Kirti had too many problems of her own to deal with and Nishit too was never open about his feelings. Also there were other villians (the 3 Fs) in their lives.
I guess his education, knowledge and career were the biggest prides of his life and now with the scam that happened, that too got tainted. It is natural for him to feel low and directionless.
Is this fascination about learning music, him trying to find direction again in his life?
So Ahilya and Nishit had dinner together, interesting.
Urmi does know that her daughter has feelings for him right. Maybe she wants to know her daughter's choice better.
Prasanna's book is interesting. Utimately, most people are looking for love and a sense of belonging in their lives.
Awesome update GN.
