What was the first chance SaiRat had to become normal

Hey since it is 1 year anniversary, I wanted to put some post to recollect some good moments. Not all but specific to the ones where SaiRat had a chance to break it all, and be normal couple. Some incident or track, where it was easier for them to put behind everything and start afresh....

I always felt Sai, was very much into this marriage from Day 1, till that pyaari cheez slip up happened. It was a blunder that pushed her back. Virat started to see her as someone to share his life with after DIG track, even though I think he looked at her like a 'wife' during Alta episode. He was completely smitten.

But they still had baggage.

The episode which could have become more of an ice breaker could have been the post-ladakh fight. If Virat had cleared her confusion, it was the best chance they had to start their relationship. All the ingredients were there. Virat's budding love, Sai's hidden love, and attraction from both sides. That was their first chance according to me.!

For me, It wasn’t marriage but lot of other things which I felt could have kicked off their journey in the right way.

I always wanted Sai to stop Virat when he was about to leave GC when he had come to speak to her in her room. She called him since she needed him and it looked as though she wanted his emotional support at that time. Things might have been different but I don’t know.

Other than this, I wanted Virat to share about his past but not put any conditions or deal in the marriage, even keeping an option of ending it once she become a doctor.

I would have actually preferred Sai refusing to get married to him with all such conditions, and then for him to have taken Sai with him as a guardian, let her stay in CN or get her admitted in a hostel and for him to keep a check on her every now and then.

If it has to be after their marriage, even then I would have preferred for Sai to have walked out of the house after the pyaari cheez behaviour of Virat when he said he never wished that he went to GC or atleast after the chilly kaand. As you said, Sai felt some pull towards Virat anyway, Virat would have also missed Sai just like how he missed her when she moved to Usha Maushi’s room. He could have tried to make some amends after she moves out but without her returning to the house. Sometimes, we take people for granted when we get it easily and if both had to get it the hard way, both would have respected and valued each other. It would have been better if Sai had put her foot down to let him know that she wouldn’t tolerate whatever his family was doing. Virat would have been forced to do something about the treatment Sai was receiving. Also, they could have actually got to understand each other outside the house, without much of Pakhi’s interference or misunderstanding. Virat would have also been able to understand what he wants and if he really had accepted Sai as she is and if he had really wanted her in his life, he might have acted differently.

Things have changed a lot and from the recent events, I have come to a different conclusion. My views about their relationship has entirely changed.

Yes, if Virat had cleared to Sai during the Ladakh fight, it would have helped for Sai to understand him better but at the moment, I feel Virat himself needs to first realise what he wants. He should understand what Sai goes through in his house and it is not a normal thing, not something one should take it lightly. He should also understand that he cannot give so much of liberty to his ex whom he has made his friend. He first needs to understand and prioritise what he needs, whom he values the most.

Even if Virat had cleared Sai’s confusion, his attitude towards Pakhi or the way he reacts during situations would always be a problem. Without that being addressed, even if he comes clean about Pakhi to Sai, I feel that it is not going to help.

Both has to learn to respect each other and value each other. If not, their relationship is always going to be a failure or it will be a relationship where one will be always required to compromise.

All these are the reasons for the drag we are seeing! But yeah post ladakh fight was the time, when he could have just rubbished about the past. How he behaved later with Pakhi or Sai, would have had consequences still..but at that moment that I mentioned, he had an option to turn the tables.

Another major track where he could have put a stop to Pakhi and past is after GC return and stopping Sai. Sai was happy he stopped her, if only he could have cleared 'again' during post birthday fight, things would have not gotten ugly. I dont find any strong motivation in the story why he could not do that, except to drag it further. They added a nice drama of baby talk, it could have set things in motion for the clarification.

I have slightly different views in this matter.. Sai is like a any other normal teen.. She certainly does have a crush on him ever since they met.. it's quite natural....But not as a lover and or as his wife she still isn't there yet..Everytime she tries to make the move something happens then she back to her shell.. She asserts her rights as a wife because it's legal and mostly it was Virat who kind of let her have it.. If you remember after the DIG incident.. All the unclear doubts in his mind got clarity after he met DIG.. Yes that was his baby step towards her.. Otherwise he has been always attracted to her right from the start ..ViRakhi almost ended when he failed to recognise her voice..

This story certainly can't be categories as a love story.. It's all about marriage..though it took me a lot of time to understand.. 😆 It's a journey of two people who are incompatible and imperfect for each other and how they are finding ways to be together.. Only because of the attachment grew over the times..

I find both Sai and Virat problematics ..Sai is extremely impulsive and takes the chaotic ways of resolving any issues.. But she has shown lot more composure when she is emotionally mess.. She never losses her moral compasses in anger.. This where she get more points.. But she has to learn some basic tricks to adjust in the joint family.. She had let everyone badmouthing her the breakfast arranged by pp.. She simply could have join with the family just like she did other time had the laddo made by pp.. Honesty is a very good quality.. But that virtue isn't appreciated always because you might end up hurting someone or getting yourself into trouble....

Most of us have had enough discussion over Virat.. He is a complex child from a bad marriage.. He has never seen a Normal marriage growing up all thanks to his father.. These character traits will never go.. He is never gonna draw a line between him and Pakhi....He expects others to understand whatever going on his mind without caring his questionable attitudes..Keeping the upcoming track ahead it's Sai whom he would always love but due to his negligence he is never gonna get her completely.. It's her personality that will be the push and pull factor in his relationship with Sai..

Virat has to reform and Sai too has to learn.. It's disheartening even after spending so much times with each other still there are no respect and no acknowledgement.. I was wishing a separation would happen.. Virat has to understand hardest way.. It can be only done of he is made to live the same moments as Sai..

On a lighter note, if that night he kissed her instead of eating ladoo, things would have been different.

Yes I also believe that she is the idealist in the plot. She cant be wrong, even if her ways are little quirky. She has flaws not weaknesses.

for me Virat is very real. He is a nice man, has good intentions but he can lose his sense of morality, right or wrong under pressure. definitely a weekness.

Virat has abundant love for Sai, but for marriage to work he should learn to respect at all cost. Love can remain without a marriage. But marriage needs both!
