Aitraaz? [Raghav, Pallavi & the ex] - Page 4

Ok so here’s my take on this storyline

Raghav finds a recording of his ex. His face gets soft as he remembers then on to anger and sadness so she obviously meant a lot to him.

Then the saag so she cooked for him which means they were intimate and together as a couple. He is honest enough to tell pallavi about it and she didnt want to hear it as she doesnt want him to scratch old wounds. When pallavi walks away he thinks she is mad and is walking away and he quickly reassures her that even though that girl ruined him in trusting women, she (pallavi) made him believe in love. So we know he loves Pallavi.

(Also we know from his past dialogues with Farhad that he has never loved anyone maybe liked, slept with etc but never loved. He had said once that love and him are 1000 miles apart or something like that)

During his confession to pallavi he said he doesnt let anyone in so to me pallavi is one he has loved. In my opinion the only one. To him pallavi means love.

As for this girl, they might have shared a life together but i dont think he loved her.

So judging by her being scared of his name and then dropping the samosa plate means she has done something to raghav in the past and she fully knows she has to face his wrath so it’s something big.

So from the recording she wanted to marry him which means they were close enough.

Ok so either she left him for money and career (something raghav kept saying that women are after him for money)

Together with above also could be she was pregnant and aborted child without telling raghav. He finds out and is angry.

Third reason, she left him for someone more rich and powerful. (Now this i dont know because she seems to care for him when she says his name even though its in fear)

These seem cliched stories so that would apply in classic itv serial. Mhrw usually is different so hope they have come up with something different.

I dont think there is a child anywhere as bringing in a child actor on set during covid times will not be feasible.

I think all this drinking is due to this girl. My opinion. I mean she must have been the trigger and he resorted to alcohol to numb his pain from his past. He might have even moved on from losing his dad and brother when he met her and with her betrayal or whatver she did, he was devastated and drowned his sorrows in alcohol. So since long he now uses alcohol to deal with his pain. Maybe with her back, there will be some closure to that and his drinking will reduce when he realizes that drinking doesnt resolve anything. And pallavi will help him with that when she realizes how it all started.

Agreed with all your points. His anger is still very palpable despite the years & as Pallavi mentioned today the pain is still visible in his eyes. Pallavi did not allow him to go into the details for now, eventually she will find out. So, obviously Isha has done something without his consent or left him for a reason that led him to not trust women. The whole track is now going to be around what happened & its direct effect on Raghav Pallavi relationship. I hope Raghav finds his closure, with Pallavi anchoring him & both of them moving ahead in their marital relationship inclusive of all aspects. There is no requirement to judge him for his past relationship which ended sourly. I don't see Raghav hurting Pallavi at all. Pallavi does know the extant of his love & respect for her, but will she feel insecure despite everything? Even if she feels it would be most appropriate for her to talk to Raghav & not draw her own conclusions & feel compelled to do something. This track should have deep conversations between the couple which are non-existent from the previous two tracks. Now fingers crossed for not having to witness an evil incarnate ex who wants Raghav back & Pallavi taking on the baton of shielding Raghav. Can we expect some maturity, emotional conversations & subtility?

Having typed the above, we shall be served what is being cooked, and we all know how the previous menus have tasted. Common makers surprise us!!

Be together for the kids sake bcoz she’s an orphan herself . Mujhe yeh process hi nahin dekhni hai even tho evil ex won’t be able to win at the end .

I have no problem with an aitraaz track because both Raghav & his ex is at the right here. If Isha thought she didn't want the baby, that's completely fine. I don't believe in that you can't take a life shit... i mean instead if making a baby and then filling it up with insecurities and issues you rather abort it. Sounds crass but then.. reality.

And Raghav being heartbroken because he wasn't consulted is also right. He deserves a say in the matter. The act had taken place with both of their consent. The baby, even if growing inside the mother isn't solely her own. The father has a say. If Isha aborted it without consulting him that was wrong.

And in this matter, Raghav and Pallavi will have to face insecurities and another emotional storm which might leave them bleeding at the end but after all emotions are complex. We cannot control them, neither can we shut them off. The point is to not act on it. Which Raghav won't. He can't. For him fidelity matters a lot. And the man loves Pallavi madly. Him turning back to his ex would be a major ridiculously put inconsistency.

Pallavi has not behaved like the typical mahaan FL till now regarding Raghav at least. Yes, she was a bit blindsided during the Mandaar track but at that time she was secure in her relationship. She wouldn't have compromised on Raghav. And I believe even here, she wont. Her refusing to hear about his ex wasn't because she was feeling insecure or bad. It was true what she said. She didn't want him to carve out old wounds which she confessed that still lingers somewhere in the background of his eyes.

She doesn't want to hurt him. And I am sure Raghav would rather shoot himself this time than even thinking of hurting her. She almost died for him. The woman took a bloody bullet for him. And he had done it almost.

Whatever the matter with the ex is, that will be the reason of all the former hurt and unhealed scars Raghav has. Maybe the reason for his major issues. I think if handled properly this track could go quite well. I for one am giving the benifit of the doubt to the makers.

Just because she used to cook some dish for him doesn’t imply physical intimacy …we don’t even know the timeline of this relationship except the fact that he was not rich…

He has kept her voice recording to this day shows he was emotionally attached to her…it was not a mere fling or crush…he did love her. That doesn’t mean physical relationship…

Initially Raghav’s distrust on women and love imply that he felt cheated & betrayed badly…

To do away with an unplanned pregnancy while being young, unmarried and ambitious cannot be considered as betrayal…that’s what any sane person would do…i would agree if Sunny feels cheated if Keerthi aborts the baby without his knowledge coz as a husband & father he has right over the child…but with what moral or ethical right can Raghav as lover can exercise over his girlfriend or the baby…Trust me they won’t take this route…it will be ridiculous to show Raghav impregnate his girlfriend and expect her to keep the baby and then hate her for not relenting…THIS IS NOT HAPPENING..ppl are mixing up Keerthi’s pregnancy track with Raghav’s past…both are separate things, I feel it has no connection…

No see, no one is hinting at physical intimacy. Becoz of that fertility issue, somehow it is being felt maybe as a premonition that something similar might have happened at a time with Raghav.

I am telling even if he did have a physical relationship with Esha, then its completely fine. There isn't anything wrong with it. Thats what I am trying to say. Mostly because people here would hate the leads being physically intimate with anyone except themselves even retroactively (which is ridiculous, i think).

And of course I don't believe they will show Raghav mad at Esha because she refused to have the child (if at all there was a pregnancy involved). Maybe she didn't tell him that before aborting. But somewhere I feel because she is being shown a designer I think the betrayal was more on the money side of things.

Maybe she just used him to climb the corporate ladder probably. Or left him without giving any reasons. Or helped his rivals for money. Something along those lines. Or left him for someone more powerful. Hence, Raghav's obsession with earning money?

If we go according to the recording of her voice shown she was saying to Raghu that tum bahot aamir banoge so I feel she wanted him to be rich

Completely agree…Raghav before committing to Pallavi, could have had consensual physical relationship with as many women as he wanted…

My opinion was on the insinuation that the physical intimacy led to a pregnancy and subsequent abortion without his consent leading to him feeling bitter about his ex GF….that would make his character a misogynist & quite shallow…that’s the reason I feel this is not possible…they already know the impact of ruining Pallavi’s character in Mandar track…they won’t repeat it with Raghav..

Infidelity can lead to hate angst anger but abortion should not especially when they were not married….

If he knew the reason, he might have got hurt badly and even hate her but he won’t hold on to her things so dearly…the fact that he still kept her stuff means, she left him blindly & he didn’t get a closure…

I know many want Pallavi to feel jealous & insecure but at this stage of their relationship I don’t see it happening…he was ready to kill & die for her and she took a bullet for him..after this I don’t see any scope for any insecurities due to a third person…separation may or may not happen in future but insecurities won’t be a reason….

I don't think separation will happen. I don't even think insecurities will though its quite natural. Mostly what I want is character development and Pallavi trying to understand Raghav. Given she didn't know his past she has been quite quick to judge him. Maybe she should reconsider...
