He finds it natural? He has got so used to it? He is actually okay with it. It has become so normal for him and I wonder if he would get shocked only if she didn’t show concern towards him. This exactly is what is making him protect Pakhi and also makes him speak against Sai or anyone who are against Pakhi.

Any person with sense, who loves his wife, who realises the gravity of the situation, who realises that she used to be his ex and that ex who wanted to start a life with him even a few days back, would cringe when the same ex is showing concern towards him like this. They wouldn’t be okay with it at all. Not at any cost. It was Samrat who was first shocked but nothing seemed wrong to Virat 👏.

I so so agree with you on this! I hope V-P are called out this time! else there is no point of this accident as well! and everything is back to square one! virat has been turned into a spineless disgusting character with no brain of his own! Aai is as useless as she can get!

I agree with your point about placing faith in the story despite creative liberties taken here and there since it is fiction- and that's how I approached Virat's characterization too. But I'm increasingly getting convinced that Leena Gangopadhyay did not write a made-for-each-other love story as it appears. The scenes after Samrat's return has changed my perspective. Ghum is very very complex. I do believe that Leena was hinting at emotional affair too - which if we go by KD, continues to wreak havoc in SaiRat relationship.

This is purely my POV based on what has been shown.

this is definitely true, because there is some psychological arc for every character. That makes their marriage also complex. They don’t have understanding, which is relatable to real world.

with virat what I see is his character does go soft on women. I wish they could show the reason for this tendency explicitly. I still don’t believe in emotional affait because if shruthi is coming, he still stands by her (at the cost of sai) even though having no emotional connection with her. Also in the end, when samrat dies he goes back to stand with pakhi, more for the guilt that her life got ruined! So his sympathy with women is hurtful to his marriage definitely. Still I don’t think it is an emotional affair because by the end of the story, it is being said/shown that sai only was his true love!

I call them virtual husband wife. Patralkeha loves Virat, cares for him, understands him, is not ambitious, is not rebellious, is loved by the family, is a doting Bhabhi as of now... So one checklist done...

Virat respects Patralekha, agrees she is the best bahu to the house, maintains her dignity beyond every one close to him, including his Aai and his pyaari Devi Tai. Cares for her...Second checklist done..

His respect and care for Pakhi >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.His feelings for Sai.

I assumed the second one when I started watching the show, with the women being exactly opposite in case of Virat's love..However makers successfuly broke my 'galatfehmi' .

I would tend to agree. Emotional cheating or emotional affair is a sub conscious affair.

I think that's what the author was trying to do. Otherwise why would this continue even after Samrat has come back? Samrat is getting annoyed and even that doesn't affect him. He is still stuck in his own self pity mode...that he hasn't done anything wrong. He hasn't..but his continuing to indulge Pakhi and more importantly, hiding her true intentions, they share something. By not admitting to Sai at least, he has created some kind of illicit relationship between himself and Pakhi. That his thick skull is refusing to acknowledge.

The makers should show some guts and go for this storyline. Because Virat and Pakhi divorcing their respective partners and getting married will be the natural progression of this relationship. After Samrat's return, Virat has suddenly become very connected with Pakhi. They are made for each other. They should be shown together in the show.

Yes nethra .. this is a complex story .. cannot be labeled as a love story .. at an emotional level virat is clearly cheating on Sai ..

the CVS are showing this by jaan boojh ke placing virat and pakhi together .. today in the end they clearly showed something to samrat .. which the house members see and gleefully ignore ..the audience sees this .. Sai n virat have always been placed apart .. because Sai has not let virat in her personal space … when she had tried .. virat had stepped back in the car in gharchiroli.. then after marriage by chance in the night … he had woken her up .. and then she created the pillow wall .. now even though virat has craved for this .. the emotional barriers are so high.. these social distancing is natural .. only time they had breached that was when virat had an accident.. that time Sai had withdrawn those barriers …. And virat failed to capitalise on those moments .. … it became back to square one during harini birthday

Pakhi has breached those walls because virat has not stopped her everytime … sometimes he does … a few times he has but she’s so shameless she tries it again ..

These have triggered Sai before and now will trigger Samrat ..

About the love part from Virat's side...he will surely get there...its just a matter of his belief.....Once they are married, I guess he will get there considering his conventional belief system.

No because everyone knows about them and it's OK for the family that Bhabhi has feelings for Devar because they hate Sai and after all she is the susheel bahu of the family..

and I don't feel sorry for VIrat..he will cry and say he was not wrong and Sai didn't understand him and his love and DIDi will console him..

there is nothing left in this GHUM story..

Virat and Pakhi are the lead stars of this Serial..
