I guess when one is on death bed, the loved ones can blame anything in an emotional moment...Say why he was called to step out, if he was at home it would not happened..I have seen this kind of situation in personal life,so I understand that aspect of it all..Logic comes into picture when you are the third person or much later when the situation is fine...In situations like these, one is not rational.. Tabhi toh bhagwaan ko bhi yaad karte hain, knowing very well that he is not there inside treating the patient...
Virat and Patralekha did push her really bad..even after knowing that she is leaving, both went on and on about how she is nuisance in everyone's life..It all looked too inhuman, last last mei...Its like keep hammering till the person does not die...
Yeah I see there being underplaying by some members on the impact of virat-pakhi's equation on sai. Truth is that virat's so-called friendship with pakhi has no boundaries. He lets pakhi do whatever and say whatever she wants in his and sai's marriage and life. He has only ever strongly reprimanded sai for speaking against pakhi but has never took the initiative to put pakhi in her place and make it clear to her that her being his friend does not mean she gets a say in his marriage. It's this allowance of interference of pakhi's by virat himself that has made sai so unsure of virat being completely over pakhi, that's why out of insecurity and frustration sai has begrudgingly always brought pakhi's name in between them, because even if sai does not take pakhi's name in their every conversation it does not make a difference, because pakhi with virat's permission is constantly part of their lives and discussions.
Sai even before she started developing any real attachment to virat had issues with virat involving pakhi in her life, whether that be virat wanting sai to accept pakhi as a mentor of some kind, or pakhi constantly coming into their bedroom whenever she felt like it and virat not questioning pakhi why she keeps coming to their room so much (except only one time when she came to their room at night over some stupid form that she could have waited till morning to talk about and that too why can't she have these convos with virat in the hall as it is). So jealousy was never even the reason why sai had issues with pakhi since the beginning, but since sai started developing feelings for him she has become increasingly troubled by the closeness, favouritism and freedom to interfere in sairat matters that virat shows towards pakhi. At first she took pakhi's name in annoyance because of how overbearingly intrusive pakhi is in virat-sai's life, and now her animosity to pakhi is because of insecurity.
Deal marriage or not, in no circumstance would anybody like someone constantly coming in their room (this even goes for single people... so fed up of my dad coming in my room everyday just to get something out of the storage room or to talk to me about something that I don't even need to know lol).
Point is pakhi constantly invades sai's privacy and peace and invades all of sairat's discussions (they can't talk or argue in their own bedroom in privacy so no wonder it doesn't even matter if they argue outside the room in front of all... wish sai would actually point that out to the family), and virat too seems to have very little issue with pakhi roaming into his bedroom or interfering in his and sai's matters despite knowing that pakhi is still in love with him yet he never suspects that's the reason she's always interfering between them and coming to their room with stupid reasons that she could easily discuss with virat in front of the family.
If virat has an issue with sai not considering their marriage a real marriage, then he should have himself treated his marriage like a marriage by setting boundaries with his bestie that he will not tolerate her interfering in their matters or insulting his wife. He should not encourage pakhi insulting and taunting sai by keeping quiet, but only opening his mouth to shout at his wife for talking back to his best friend who happens to be his ex. Afterall, this is the same ex who virat told his wife that he loves and due to whom he cannot accept this marriage as anything more than a zimmedari and neither will give his wife any wife rights because of that same bestie, yet virat has never in clear cut words addressed to his wife about his past and been honest to her whenever sai asked him about his past with pakhi, because his past with pakhi is very much influencing his present behaviour between both women. Whenever sai asked him straightforward questions, he would shut her down rather than just answering the questions, which made sai feel more unsure and unclear about her position in his life.
Even now I do not expect that virat will ever realise that sai's constant deal marriage jaap was because of a lack of reassurance from his side that sai is a priority for him over pakhi and insecurity over virat being so close to pakhi that he let pakhi interfere in her life and their marriage so much.
