Lack of anchoring and direction

The ghum creative team is totally lackluster....

For new actors...a good director and team is much needed...only under a good mentor..they will learn the craft...

If some artists are not good...they can only perform better..if they are briefed well..a director should bring the best out them...

There's really huge lack of a good direction ...

in the zeal of trp's standard is going more and more downhill...

The story being an already scripted and executed one...the CV's are way too lazy to do anything creative....

But one thing... they do religiously...they omitt out all the poignant and good scenes from the original and insert some scenes to increase screen space of certain characters which is actually not there at all in the original...

As long as there is high trp...there's no scope of any improvement..still thought like saying it...

I wish they got back the previous director.. The current one just says action and says cut. Baaki jo karna hai karo...I have complained so much about the direction already.. Ashwini Shashwat is a disaster.

It also depends on the actors... new comers like Ayesha, and the actress playing the character of Karishma both are bang on with their expressions

Everyone needs to do their homework and hard work for the better execution of scenes.

They are just lazyy

They have really high trps and they are not making the effort anymore.they know that they have a loyal fanbase, hum kuch bhi dikhaye log dekhenge hi.no progress, no intimate scenes between leads, same old drama, same old accidents.

Shows with moderate or low trps make the effort every week to make sure they either maintain or increase their ratings.even a 0.1-0.2 fall in ratings alert them.but as long as ghum fetches trp of above 3, this will all continue in a loop.

Absolutely undeserving and lazy set of people and top of that really arrogant, considering they have got enough reviews online about the bad direction for a while now... Direction is so pathetic that cant even talk about it...Its looks like they come to the sets to Party and work in between breaks..

I have read some of your posts and they are really good.though I am not a regular viewer of the show, I do visit the forum sometimes.

I agree. I have seen body double used in hug scenes, the pining to the wall scene which is supposed to be intimate and intense looked like a joke.there are very few scenes where the leads are close , atleast direct them properly.

Hey Thanks... Its just that It spoils the viewing experience.There are so so many scenes that could have been much better, if probably a better director and more willing actors..
