This year they had decided who the winner was and who was 2nd placed and third placed.

Yes, yes. TCT was so happy with the show that they had installed a printer and laminating machine which could deliver those cheques within minutes of the counting being audited.

We did have a discussion on this subject after the results.

I am kind of afraid of repeating that discussion.

We lost most hard core Arunita fans from this Forum after that.

They could not cope with the ability of modern technology and Sony/TCT's supreme efficiency!

I may have missed that discussion as I was not a regular at that time. But it's okay we can leave it at that.

Look if you are a PD fan, it sounds hard.

But I personally think he may have won because he had more fans. But that does not make what Sony did look good.

Re. bold: No, that's not it. As I have said before, I always voted 50:50 for PD and Arunita - so for me it doesn't matter who came first as long as one of them did.

I agree the way they handled it doesn't appear good, but then there are ways to achieve this. Place stickers at the last minute, have multiple versions made and so on.

Anyway, since you say this had caused tremendous disruption earlier, let's no go down that path now.

What we have seen in the last 7 weeks is that these two are basically being treated as joint winners by all.

And what matters is how their careers shape from this point on.
