One thing is clear. Inspite of where they end up in II12 some has real potential to be successful in career. It's upto their hardwork and destiny in future.

To me what Idol does for some contestants is to make them visible and recognizable. That essentially translates into some increased earning potential for them. That earning sustains them and allows them to stay relevant. Then they either get a break that makes them Mirchi Awards function invite worthy or gives them an alternate career in showbiz like hosting etc.

Idol sets you up for a career. In today's time and age you cannot generally have market prevailing performers/artists. So your career is essentially a few hit original songs which make you solo show worthy. For singers all the money is in shows. Since most want to earn recognition by making money, the path is clear. At least that is what I make of it. :)

I just realised HR released a song yesterday with someone. Today Sayali/Danish duet. Lookslike he increased the pace of releases.

Yesterday there was a session on one of the most followed fan pages that keeps getting exclusive things. They said 2 more songs already recorded with HR - but it was not clear whether it is a solo of either or a duet.

Yesterday one of the most followed fan pages of ArK and PD ran a Q&A session with the admin. This is the fan page that keeps getting exclusive scoops. In that, the admin said that 2 more songs have been recorded with HR, but they were not clear on whether those are duets or solo songs of either one of the two.

HR is a No 1 believer. He lives by it. He releases songs at 11.11 usually. He wanted to release yesterday's song today, but messed up because his eyes were wet from crying on TV after Sachin Valmiki's song.

HE just cannot , not release a song on 1.10 at 1PM.

He announced that he would release it only yesterday. That is proof that this was an afterthought and he had this long recorded song in his "remind me next year' bin!

Let me clarify. "They said..." means the fan page said, not PD and Arunita. The session was with the fan page admin. I realize now my post is ambiguous. Going to edit it now.
