@Bold - Coz Modaks don't need Mithai's approval 😐 She just had a smile on her face that too not a happy one n they took it as a Yes..

@Green - She came with Som so that she can stay in Modaks Good Book .. 🙄

@Blue - They didn't informed her about Divorce, Fake Ashirwaad, Jail or the 2nd marriage that was supposed to happen in Monohora.. So take a guess 🙄

@bold: EXACTLY!!!!! After watching the episode I felt the same way Soniya di. Many people earlier have tried to convince him in many ways. He has always taken time to evaluate it and finally arrive at "Its too suffocating"
But Sid accepting what Gurudev said, so soon, without being influenced by Dadai not wating to return? Nah! not possible.

Sid proposing to Mithai was very confusing to me. He said he's not doing it for Dadai. Then what? Is he doing it out of love? Obviously not. Then he also said "jhoker boshe bolchi but dayito niye bolchi". WTH! How is that different from the earlier arrangement? He took all responsibility but it was still never a marriage. All in all this was a very pretentious act, even though Sid said he doesn't put up pretences. It really ruined Sid's character for me🤓\

@green: I wholeheartedly agree. Things are being rushed too much for it to be true. All of this is make-believe, just to get Dadai home. And poor Mithai is being forced into this, with entire Halla Party going "he proposed to you on one knee, what is your problem, why can't you believe it"

@bold: This is a million dollar statement. They didn't even wait for a YES from Mithai. In fact, even though Sree said she saw Mithai had only smiled but not said yes, when Mithai smiled and everybody ran to hug her, Sree did too, showing that she too thought it was a yes (If I remember right).

Sree also said this very objectionable statement - "Hoito Dadabhai tomake oi bhabe bhalobashena but tumi dekho, tomake thik bhalobeshe phelbe"

Excuse me what? Is this the same girl who not so long ago said "I don't want to get Ratul's love this way, just by virtue of a marriage"?

I'm so frustrated with how the characters have all been butchered!! If any of you have a positive way of looking at this please do put something up or else I think i'll lose my sanity

The little positivity which I can see......

I think Sid's progress will be from "gota ekta biye hoiche na amader"....."modak barir bou" to " she is my wife"... basically I think he took up another challenge mone mone to fight his own fear.....and win the battle....as said by Gurudev.......romantising the whole think will take more tym I think........But the problem here is they addressed Sid's fear in a very disappointing way.....people actually faces these type of fear.....

And about love and the modak family reaction....I think arranged marriages are never out of love....it's at first all about mutual understanding ar eke opor ke ektu adhtu pochondo....love happens eventually......and that is what they are propagating......

@Red - I've the same feeling.. Earlier Sid told Dadai that he's ready to accept the marriage keeping aside his beliefs once he agrees to return.. But Dadai didn't believe him..

So Sid needed to make Dadai believe that he's accepting the marriage coz he wants it for himself.. This is why all this sudden proposal.. And Sid had done this pretentious act even before when 3 Srees had asked him to accept Mithai as Rakhi gift..

So there's no way I'll believe Sid changed his whole belief system just like that.. I'm waiting for them to return to Monohora n SidMit convo separately.. I'll believe this when I see it, not his words..

And this time too Sid dragged Mithai to the Puja room, knelt down n proposed.. But Mithai still doesn't have an option.. She had to say Yes for Dadai's sake or else he wouldn't return n the entire blame would have been Mithai's.. Sid er opor r kono blame thakto na..

@bold: Absolutely. Poor Mit is sandwiched between the manchild (Dadai) and his premeditated schemes. 🤓

Feeling so angry about this whole track. If this was set in 50 yrs bak, it was still beliavable, now it seems emotional abuse going on for Mithai. And there s nobody to help her.
