Some issues with ML's expressions for sure.. In fact the amount disgust repulsion he has shown towards Pakhi is preceded by the one he showed towards Sai..

What is this look when Sai convinces Ninad to sing?

He had issues with Sai making faces while doing the Pooja..What is it with him then... Does he only know these expressions..?

PS: I have been in awe of ML, the nuances he brings in smallest of small expressions and mentioned the ML makes Virat worth watching.. But right now I am thoroughly disappointed.. Yesterday it was facepalm and today ..Well you can see...

Tbh, I had this problem with his expressions since a long time, I thought I was the only one, and didn't want to hurt his fans here so never commented..

I felt his expressions to be extra dramatic, which looks a little out of the place sometimes, especially emotional scenes.. I have not seen him previously in any other shows before, so don't know..

I think many do think he is flawless and its hatred towards the actor that makes people not see his good acting... I liked him but before accident episodes...I mean when he doubted Sai with Ajinkya...Have not liked him for a while...he is already very limited when it comes to intimacy, was doing good when it came to basic nuances....but he seems to be pretty much lost...Not sure its his inability to understand the character or its supposed to be this...The look of disgust he gives to Sai, its way beyond he has given to Pakhi... I know, I have seen comments praising his expressions many times, when I felt it to be not up to the mark, to be precise 'dramatic'.. and trust me I am not biased bcoz of the character or the offscreen dynamics..

I think the problem is, as you said, we are used to having MLs expressing everything through their eyes, those sparkling eyes and subtle expressions they give for the FLs... the love, care, concern are subtly expressed along with the hurt, or anger or angst which are expressed loud!

I love Neil as an actor.. He has the ability to subtly express his emotions ..

I havent been watching much since the past two weeks except few ones posted here.. Honestly his curve is going down and down day by day.. 🤢👎🏼

Especially post breakfast drama where he flips the paratha much to his irritation and also was not liking how everyone was badmouthing his wife.. He was apt ..

Yeah I know I have seen toxic MLs in love/attracted to their FLs...Usually when they are in love they dont torture their women the way this one did, but anyway.. So they are able to show love, softness, concern in their angry days...but this one has only be showing disgust...

@bold I know what you are saying, I think he has a habit of probably focusing too much on certain things that it looks "acted" and not natural..The way he says "Please" when he has to be desperate or when he says "2 min" and keeps showing two fingers, almost forcing the two fingers... I know that one.. I have praised him when I felt he is good, have been called a hater, when I pointed out his flaws..But then anyway I cant do fake praise just because I am fond of an actor...Biggest of biggest actors have their bad days...I am sure this guy has it too...but its been too long, since I have seen him doing good...He is already so limited when it comes to romance, intimacy, to an extent that they altered the original scenes, while we know they are capable of copy pasting, infact stretching the regressive scenes...there has to be some reason they alter good beautiful scenes between the leads... Khair ab main kaha hi ja rahi hun...Aur badi hater kehlaungi...

Being new to the show Nd never seen any of the leads ever before.... For me all 3 actors in the lead role are almost ordinary... But there is a thing called evolving ... Which I see in Sai actor but very slowly... I don't see any progress in Viraat as an actor... In all the emotional scene, his closing eyes and giving those puzzled looks or that forehead pe hath etc... They are the signs of bad acting... Right now as I said he is acting as if he is disgusted with Sai which I think is not the script. .. but I don't know anything about original Bengali show ..

If you are saying intimate scene have been tweaked because of his acting limitations and personal relations with other actor then I must say it's a big risk and loss that the makers are taking with him because it's a romantic show for God sake... U cant miss on those romantic scenes that would bring trp and audience to you 😆

He actually uses his hands too much - I used to find it natural earlier, but now it seems forced. His light hearted scenes with Ayesha were much better. I think he is not able to grasp this complicated nuance now and he doesn't want to look stone-faced maybe like the Bengali version, so he is giving some expression but it's not right. Any time he is around Pakhi, his expressions are even worse, and I actually get very irritated watching him (like yesterday - I mean that woman said Sai was a shani earlier - has he forgotten?!). I have started not even watching Sai and Virat scenes due to that. Waise bhi only seeing 3-4 scenes on Instagram.

Asmi, I just want Pakhi to get her due yaar. Sai jiske bhi saath rahe, Virat ke saath rahe, akele rahe, even top show's new ML ke saath rahe, kuch bhi - I don't even care about confession any more. I just want Pakhi to get trashed like Sai does - made to stand in the middle of the zillat arena while people pile on to her, till she breaks down. I swear, I have never hated a character like I hate her, and the main reason for this is that she is CONSTANTLY getting whitewashed and freaking compared to Sita and Devi.

Actually, according to his monologues his expression should be a mixture of hurt, disappointment, anger and love. But he really look like a villian while putting the sindoor.

But ayesha worked well there, her expression is a mixture of happy, sad and love.

I am thinking can they turn virat into a complete antagonist na? His monologues and actions are not at all matching.
