What's with expressions?

Some issues with ML's expressions for sure.. Does he know only to show disgust in anger be it Pakhi or Sai...His expressions have been pretty much the same..I have seen toxic MLs in shows, where they are shown aggressive but then even in anger there is a different kind of look reserved for the FL..some softness... There is a difference between his anger/indifference towards Pakhi and Sai...Or there is no difference??

In fact the amount disgust repulsion he has shown towards Pakhi is preceded by the one he showed towards Sai..

What is this look when Sai convinces Ninad to sing?

He had issues with Sai making faces while doing the Pooja..What is it with him then... Does he only know these expressions..?

And of course the trademark

PS: I have been in awe of ML, the nuances he brings in smallest of small expressions and mentioned the ML makes Virat worth watching.. But right now I am thoroughly disappointed.. Yesterday it was facepalm and today ..Well you can see...

The kind of negativity virat is doing .. it’s very difficult to bring it across … without being outright negative .. it will take a nuanced director and a little more time .. it’s not the actors fault ..

Virat has to have an ambiguous expression.. basically looking not pleased . Which he’s showing

Since the last few weeks I can’t understand only what Virat is trying to do! Totally disconnected from his character and is working hard trying to go the didi way! The anger towards Sai is coming across as disgust!

True, you have a point.. the directors are awful!

Exactly...I dont bring in the director here, because its established the director is not good...Otherwise we would see an expressive Pakhi... But here I fail to understand any of the expressions..

True and that was not supposed to be the case...

Neil is a good actor, no doubt about it....he's given us so many personal nuances till before this track.

Post Anniversary and specially the past 3 weeks I have totally been unable to understand why he's literally throwing daggers whenever Sai says or does simple things. Expressions of simmering anger are one thing and expressions of loathsome disgust or rage are different. There is hardly any trace of love, love cannot persist just in the monologues. I don't know why they are writing it like this, it's blatant copy/paste I guess because it surely does not suit Virat as a character or his love for Sai as a lover.It was always silent, reassuring and beautiful & now all that's left is just traces of absolute rage or disgust.

Neil's eyes look always puffy for which his expression are unreadable 😕😕

But then someone like him who has 13 years of acting experience gives such expression unfathomable to me..

And director okayed the scene.. 🤢that's his wife he was staring whom he claims to love..

Actually now a days we need subtitles to read his expressions 🤢

I'm confused honestly....I too find him moping about with a look of disgust all the time.....I feel the nuances is missing...unlike earlier abusive episodes.

On the other hand I think.....this guy is abusive, disrespectful towards his wife.....and justifying his actions....am I expected to see any softness from a monster?

True and I have seen angrier and toxic MLs before....but this I have not seen...

Thats why I wanted the TRPs to fall a bit two weeks back...There is blatant ignorance on everyone's part. Ayesha comparatively has been so so much better...
