Angsty take on Sais state 😥 amazingly written!

Med school activities- in first year theres lab sessions in biochem, physiology- we do experiments with each others blood- counting rbcs/wbc, check HR response to exercise etc, theres dissection with cadavers- we used to give them names n theres osteology where we learn about bones so we go through the landmarks on the bone. Have to memorize all the foramen in the skull and what exits through each!

2nd year onwards theres clinical training too- seeing patients n presenting then in addition to lectures etc.

There are field trips in med school to rural areas.

You learn to crack morbid n dark jokes in final year/internship.

And in internship theres even 24 hr shifts, night shifts etc ...

Look forward to friendship series. I want virat to realize what real friendship is!

Oh my God.. thank you so much. I think you just wrote the skeletons of at least 3-4 chapters for me. I thought dark jokes were a very law school phenomenon. Glad to know we're not the only dark souls on the planet. Also, the field trips, which year do they usually take place ?

Field trips are scattered through out training. Community health is a subject in 3rd year but usually in summer holidays, etc, our med school would organize 1-2 week long experiences at smaller rural hospitals. We would do data gathering in villages, public health skits and songs etc. As a student i remember being excited to go visit these rural towns and stay there. People there are so warm n loving. We'd get free food, eat sugarcane, go climb water tanki/trees, go to the railway tracks and put coins there to flatten it....lame things that kids do! Lol.

And medical humor in my experience is really morbid. I mean its essentially about death/dying/disease! But its more pronounced in internship/work, not as a student. Once doctors get exposed to death/dying, people often resort to humor to make light of things n stay sane....

I remember how we were joking about how whenever theres a code blue or rapid response called in the hospital for an acutely ill patient, it also becomes a socializing exercise in addition to being a time to do work.... especially after the patient has been stabilized.

As a student, I remember studying in the library n taking periodic breaks to get coffee n sitting on the stairs of the library yapping. We spent more time on those stairs than inside the library. Lol.

Cant wait to read your upcoming updates.

Sai deserves to have good friends.

I want Virat to see enjoy these actual friendship things and feel guilty about his behavior n his fake "friendship" with his exlover vahini....

Wow...you just gave me a mine of information. Sai's going to have some real fun. I get using humor to actually drive away the morose stuff. We do that too.

We have something called hypotheticals in law. Since every crime isn't done in the same way, after being taught a law, for suppose, murder, we are required to imagine situations that this law can be applied too. We imagine the wackiest of situations and kill people in it. Sometimes, we think that our crimes professor is scared of us.

It gets even darker when we're asked to read through post mortem reports and write defence for the accused.

Virat wasn't originally a part of the story I planned, but after seeing his and Pakhi's scene today, hell yeah, I'm gonna teach him the definition and selflessness of friendship.

See you there...

The problem is no one seems to be really alive to her depression, so I am wondering how all this will tie back to Virat’s conduct in recent weeks and PK’s vileness throughout. In KD it was done through UM who saw and knew everything, but I can’t see how it works effectively here.

Can you write a piece about virat seeing how Sai behaves when Aniket/Ajinkya's girlfriend get jealous of her friendship with them n watching Sai handle it maturely. I want him to feel guilty about how he handles his own insecurity and did not understand Sai's insecurity....that will show him what he/pp should have behaved like if they really were "just friends" 🙄🙄🙄
