Colors launched Bawra Dil at 10.30 pm but it never got the required numbers. At the time, their prime time show Pinjara Koobsurati ka could not sustain so they interchanged the shows. Ultimately both went off air in a phased manner. Even Shakti suffered the same fate.

Many channels are abruptly shutting down serials and channels are at the receiving end. Sitara has got a good method to off air shows. Just put them in the 5.30 pm slot.

Moreover, Sai and Shivangi never promoted themselves what will the channel do 😔 Repeat telecast is equally imp. SSK2 is repeated but Sitara doesnt care and that is where things have gone wrong. SP viewérs are aware of Pandya, Imlie, Gopi Bahu part 2 , 12 year wala show and YHC . Most of us also are used to switching on our tv sets post 7.30 pm.

Still I feel Sitara does have soft corner for Raghav Rao and even if they dont promote him like others they will give this show a fair chance. Say another two mnths ext or till Nov end.

To be honest MHRV will have it’s predestined run…few months or a year I don’t know..Sandiip said he wants it to run for 2 yrs and Sai in his recent interview said the show is not going off air…so I want to believe that that the show will run its course..

6:30 is not a Trp driven slot at all…in fact 7pm itself was experimental only..prime time starts with 7:30 only, the channel experimented with Sathiya and it worked but no show after that is working for the channel in that slot…so this whole hoopla about MHRV not bringing in numbers while their early prime slots doing so badly is sounding so hypocritical…

I don’t think the channel is expecting much at 6/6:30…it’s just experimenting like it did at 7pm and MHRV did do pretty good at 6:30 competing with Ssk2, a typical TRP driven drama, MHRV did not succumb proves it has a loyal viewership…

In fact I feel it’s the channel which has taken a huge risk in replacing MHRV with stable numbers with Vidrohi, a historical especially with Ssk2 as competition…

Sai and Shivangi are such good looking people and yet not one glimpse of them or MHRW festivities in those promos

Rest toh I agree but Shakti😲....dt show has had a longgg run. Its high time it goes off air. Besides its second lead had signed up for a new show....Thapki....dt was another reason.

Agreed on the repeat telecast thing also. Its true.....repeat telecast does get new viewers but both the channel and the makers didnt want dt. I remember Sikcand specifically saying.....koi repeat telecast nai hoga. Koi promos nai hoga. Slot change nai hoga. Too adamant he is.

Yep Sitara does love RR. But I feel the love is decreasing . Sitara does this thing where it offers the lead dt they like a new show or a new role....if they want to retain him or her. So they might do dt.

True channel is taking a risk. Like it did wid replacing SAAK wid ZMGA. Didnt work. I predicted dt too. Probably Vidrohi wont do as well either. But there is dt factor dt not many people know abt the regional hero and dt might get audience. Maybe...

See we can comment all we want on the channel's ways but it doesnt matter to them. Trps or not....something has caused dem to shift a show dts stable on trps. Something is not coming up tp their expectations. So they will do as they please and one can do nothing.

Primetime does start wid 7.30 but 7 pm slot is doing well. Look at the colors show. It has hit 3 point trp at that slot. Its a reminder...shows can do well in dt slot. People might hate the show but they are watching it ....bcz they are intrigued. So the trps r climbing up. Dts a very important aspect....keeping people hooked.MHRW sadly couldnt do it.

It might be predestined like you said. Maybe they do hv a contract. But dont go on actor's words bcz honestly they dont know either when the channel decides to pull the plug on any show. Sai had put a post abt trps.....so at the least there seems to be an issue.

See, I agree with you on that something is not adding up…channel offered MHRV 7pm slot…Sandiip refused it…I feel MHRV might have done well at 7pm slot…to begin with it had all the Trp ingredients…but the producer opted for 6:30 probably coz he did not want to take the Trp pressure and maybe he wanted the show to run for a definite time because they have a story to tell for a said time frame…If the time frame was just few months then the channel & Sandiip could have experimented with the 7pm slot itself. Even if the show didn’t manage the desired Trp, they could have shifted it to a less competitive slot for the remaining months as they did with ANNS…

They opted for dead slot coz they didn’t want to take the Trp pressure and 1.1 is a good number at 6:30 at least for now., that too with Ssk2 as competition with a run time of 45 minutes giving the same numbers…

The only logics I see here is they expect MHRV to clock in the same 1.1 at 5:30 coz they know it has a loyal viewership..MHRV with 1.1 at 5:30 will be a magic number for them…and they also think Vidrohi might bring in the same numbers or a little more, which I highly doubt coz it’s a historical drama…

May be the channel wants to expand their viewership base by increasing the slots…star used to have afternoon band but they stopped it, probably now they want to open up early evening slots, which will not only increase their viewers but also give a push to prime time shows…

I’m sure MHRW will be able to bring in 1.1 again, might drop initially but it will be back to 1.1

The viewers are very loyal

And 1.1 for a 5:30 is good for SP, they will definitely keep it going

I think it’s best for our show to not be competing for TRPs, we can see them go back to a better storyline with more raghvi and less tadka

That IMO will get them a higher TRP than this tadka Sicku is doing 🤔 hopefully we get back to raghvi soon!

You have a point and you are optimistic.....which is great.

To each his own. I dont see it as a good move. Somehow it feels the next show on its way to the axe might be MHRW only. I would be happy if I am proven wrong though.

Just 1 more thing.....Sikcand did expect trps much more than what they are getting. He has told it in his lives. He was like......get trps to 2 and I will give you whatever you demand in the show. So no they didnt want 1.1 trps. He has also mentioned in the past dt only TV ratings matter to them....nothing else.....which isnt great fr the show.
