There seems to be an SBS segment with Kishori Ma'am and Neil and Aishwarya. Why are they promoting Virat and Pakhi so much?? This can't be only her PR.

I hope we are collectively able to ignore it.

Yaar Neil has been a disappointment in this track. He has only two expressions - Anger and ego..along with looking lifeless. I don't know what's going on. Even during ousting track, he was sketchy during the kaand, but in his bedroom, the hurt was clearly expressed. He seems confused in this track.

And what is it with the show promoting SaiRat as a love story? Be it Ashwini's promo today or Sai imagining her aaba during her birthday - their relationship is being promoted as some laila-majnu timeless love story (facepalm). Atleast KD viewers were spared of this nautanki.

First paragraph... I saw a clip and made a post on the main forum.

@bold Well you see they have reached a stage where, if Sai does not want Virat, that would be accepted by the audience and if she wants that as as well.. There is no other way to keep Virat as the ML. They have lost the online audience, Channel was bashed left right and centre for letting Virat promote Navratri, they went on to have him as Neil...unlike other characters and now they make Ashwini say such things like, things go wrong if they are not together...Just because everyone is talking about how Virat is not the right man for Sai..and they need to stay apart from each other...Its to keep the TRP audience..TRP this week is dropping , thats for sure, but how much we have to see..

Online audience have already shifted base...bade is at top 3.. Even BV is getting more online TRPs than Ghum... So abhi this this there way to keep BARC TRp.

Hmm. I agree it's for the trp audience. They don't care about online audience anyway.

My problem is if the story is about Sai.....then why not promote it as such. Like in Anupama for example. Sadhanshu is still the main lead there right? Why confuse the audience?

As for Neil's expressions, this mismatch between reality, earlier episodes and expressions have been there for a long time. It especially happens in aspects Virat is supposed to be stupidly clueless about. Frankly, I don't know what to make of it, because it is impossible for anyone to be this dumb, unless one is pretending to be so. So his cluelessness is probably matching the expressions, but his cluelessness itself is ridiculous in the first place. Am I making sense?

But Sudhanshu was always supposed to be not the positive lead for Anupama...They wont want that for Neil...They want to go with Sairat.. See they will start trying to get back online love, when TRPs drop, thats what happens..

I see people saying what was Sai's problem if Virat is for once giving a chance to his brother's wife who wants to move on and they were just discussing a trip... How they reduced her to just the brother's wife...

Although I haven't watched the show, I don't imagine Vanraj to be worse than Virat. Only physical affair is supposed to be going astray?

They had to decide what they want - SaiRat or Sai. As it is SaiRat was toxic and unethical, now they have destroyed even the bare minimum. If it was SaiRat, they should have scrapped the regressive nonsense. If they had planned on copying KD, they should have promoted it as Sai's story. Leaving it ambiguous like this is ridiculous.

So Virat gives chance to his ex-cum-bhabi to move on, by discussing about a trip in private, by letting his ex-cum-bhabi insult his wife and also join her?

They have seriously messed up. They obviously don't want to make Sai an Anupama..it would do very well too. Because that would make Virat almost negative. Not just ' flawed' as the actor likes to pontificate. I'm really irritated with Neil. 😆

ITV doesn't know how to handle grey... actually Virat would've been great to try it out. Because he started off very well...and because TRPS have been on their side.

Most of the time grey heroes change for the better and almost become annoying with their goodness..which also seemed unrealistic. But give me that kind for entertainment yaar, I have the streaming platforms for the really nuanced characters.

Here TRPs are being used to keep the real couple in the same frame for a longer time. With no logic to the characterisation.
