Both the teams lost their previous encounters in the tournament.
In their previous game, SRH lost to Punjab Kings by 5 runs in a nail-biting game. Batting first, Punjab Kings suffered a big blow when both of their in-form openers KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal lost their wickets within 5 overs. Aiden Markram then piled up 27 runs for the team.
