I would say the dialogues are harsh because now the fight is no holds one. Both know that they are in this marriage forever, they love each other so they are not walking around egg shells trying not to hurt their love. It is like when you know the person you are fighting is yours, you won't hold back any of the hurt and go full on barring your wounds. That is what Raghav and Pallavi both are doing. It is an awesome catharsis - Raghav definitely needs this to heal the wounds of past. And Pallavi needs this so she can truly understand the layers that Raghav has.

Earlier they were having their insecurities so they were not showing their inner most fears so as to not hurt their lover. Now it is not the case.

faking her death is only needed if they actually want to separate them.

In KHKT it was because Dipika was little hesitant to do those scenes. But still Sickand gave a near consummation scene and a beautiful rain sequence for the leads. I think here they might show a consummation at the end of this track. The next track would be Pallavi's past and that will shake the foundations of their marriage because most probably Pallavi might be some way related to Krishna Rao. Then Raghav has to make a call - how much he is going to hold on to his past.

No there might not be any faking her death but Pallu might be hurt or almost dying - That is the only way I see Raghav and Pallavi talking through their differences because they can't lose each other no matter what.
