Adi leaves after hearing Maakad say his mom has gone to Meera's place to propose marriage. Meera tells Maakad I like you but I dont love you. We are friends but I cant live with you 24x7. We should just remain friends. Maakad says I am sorry, I should have told you beforehand 🤔He asks her if you will never marry anyone? Meera says I will not marry just for the sake of marriage, I will marry only if I like someone. He asks her to think again. Patients arrive and Meera and we are saved as he leaves 😵

Maakad's mom tells the Desais that Maakad likes Meera. Shubha says we did think you would speak about this. Maakad's mom says I did tell him to speak to her directly but my maakad is shy and couldnt muster up the courage to ask her directly. So he sent me here. Thankfully Meera's parents say we like the proposal but we must ask Meera first before we say yes. Maakad's mom says we are a modern family, I wasnt even searching for a girl for him. I am separated from my husband though we are not divorced and hence I dont believe in all these typical things. Ashwini says you will have to wait a bit longer as we are first going to marry off Manu. Maakad's mom asks why but they say its nothing, just that Meera was always very busy and not that interested in marriage, so we just thought of marrying off Manu first. Shubha says so should we speak with Meera or Maakad will? Maakad's mom said Maakad will 🤔

Adi is wondering does Meera really like Nikhil? How did her choice worsen so much over the years 😆 Should I even ask her out today? But Meera messages him herself and asks him out for lunch. She grows restless when he doesnt reply immediately 😆 and messages him again to reply when his work is over 😆Adi finally reads the message and is over the moon.

Maakad is thinking to himself that Mom must have talked with her parents by now and they must have already said yes. I know Meera likes me and she will eventually say yes. Why does Adi come in between all the time. Let me just ask Meera out for lunch and talk to her. But when he comes out he is informed by Rashmi that Meera has already left with Adi.
