Yeah can't expect much from ITV. Sony probably has the best shows in that respect. But doesn't get trp.

Yeah male lead was majority of the times always screaming his lungs at his wife over something. Many times he accused her of not being a good mother to his kids if anything went wrong. 🤢

In fact, in the moment I felt he was the actual male lead than the trash of a husband of Sai who still held his head high in pride after locking his wife up like one would to an animal

Guys, Yogi has INCREDIBLE potential specially with angry scenes like these. Sorry but Neil looked lacklustre in front of him for the first time. Neil does emotional scenes really well but holy moly Yogi nailed the quiet angry man demeanor.

I hope they give him more screenspace, he totally deserves it.

I defo feel yogi will get noticed through his role here and hopefully get good offer in future. Despite being supporting character he literally took the limelight from the male lead in this episode with his performance. Honestly the writers are doing neil such a big disservice with the type of scenes they give him now where pretty much any supporting actor can overshadow him because too many of his scenes involve him being expressionless and looking tired or least bothered. I do feel bad for neil.

I don’t think u quite understand the issue. The issue is not whether Sai is right or wrong. Even if she was wrong, does it justify her husband locking her up in their room?

Forget justified or not, what right does he have to do that? I don’t know if u are married or not but let me point out that marriage is a union of equals & neither spouse has the right to lock up or beat or starve or evict or abuse the other. Even if the other is wrong. Our law does not allow a husband to punish his wife if she doesnt behave according to expectation - if he doesnt like her behaviour he is free to divorce her, but not to abuse her.
Thirdly, when he himself has been emotionally unfaithful, he has no business expecting anything from his wife.

Lastly, he himself has committed other immoral acts like lying to the family & covering up other people’s lies, who is he to lecture or teach his wife appropriate behaviour?

People don't even lockup their pets for hours like this when they are disobedient, but apparently according to some there is nothing problematic or abusive about showing a husband locking up his wife in the room for hours to get her to obey him and do what he wants. 🤢

Interesting question. I wonder how Neil does this nonsense with any conviction.

Sign of a good actor. Neil clearly tries to put himself in his character's shoes and try and feel what the character may be feeling, irrespective of whether neil himself would react differently in such a situation compared to the character he is playing.

Exactly!

So disappointing to see people justifying abuse with A=B=C so A=C type of explanations. There is a line between haq/authority and abuse. Mistakes can be forgiven abuse has a very bad impact psychologically.

They are showing abuse casually, on top of it the showrunners want to show that it's ok for a husband to do it & stand and justify it and not stop and introspect.

Equating mistakes for abuse is not even an equation of comparison!

This!! I was shocked at the total lack of remorse. Normally, Neil does bring in that element. Like he did during the Pulkit lunch drama. That was powerful because you could see he was struggling with his own behaviour. But today, he was looking so defiant.

Was that the director's call? I mean, why would they do that to the lead of the show?? No grey character i have seen in hindi tv, looks so remorseless when it comes to his love. Even if they are going through a phase of suspicion, the usual trope that they come up to create misunderstanding.

I wish Neil had defended his character with a disclaimer that this is not acceptable in real life.

Me too! He's playing an IPS officer for god's sake!

Very careless writing, portrayal and justifications. Copy Paste is one thing but to this level of insensitivity and mindlessness is sad!

So many partner's think they can get away with such kind of behaviour but this is so unacceptable considering the position of power the main character is in.

Atleast one small expression of remorse should have been shown but no they don't want to take that trouble or originality.

Thanks for tagging me.

Tbh I have always associated virat and able to forgive or relate about his deeds.

But this time I may sound horrible but more than Didi I can't just bear to watch him on screen especially the horrible expressions he is giving.he has never even given such expressions when he has been indifferent with Didi.

I just hate it.Moreover ever since I have heard his interview on sbs about his role in this track ,the way he was bashing Sai's character with his FL,it was enraging for me.

I mean I understand if you want to give justification for your character but why to bash others.

And days ago I had seen his segment with Ayesha .There he was a different person.

I know some may not agree with me but just like Virat I am finding him annoying and double faced.

Also I feel all the blame on his so called FL but may be we are too soft on him .He is just as unprofessional just as her .

Completely my pov.

Its just I can't even digest his actions as a fictional show too.

And he nailed it again today, Yogi is totally rocking. He literally ripped Patralekha apart in the precap. He gained a fan in me wow

I do believe separation is very much needed in the story .. at least 2-3 years they should live apart .. and understand and reflect where they went wrong .. and separation is the need of the hour right now

And I know with full assurance that star plus has total control of the female leads .. they are the brand ambassadors.. over here the story also belongs to them as KD was shown in star jalsaCVS have no control of how the female lead is going to get dressed up and what her story arch will be ..

imlie still wears the servant type clothes … anupama still has her blue cloth bag and choti ..

This is how they advertise

@Bold: I don't agree to this.

It is completly PH work how they want their fls to dress up.

Annika and Naira have been one of the best dressed fls in the ITV.

Even Mishti and Presha got good dress.

Pallavi gets amazing sarees and Dhara gets some really beautiful sarees with sexy blouse.

Channel doesn't control the way fl dresses, it is upto what CV wants them to be.

Almost all the shows r remake but except Ghum non r following it regressely.

Channel only interefers when the show doesn't bring TRPs.

I don't think Channel has ever interefered for Ghum, Anupamaa or even Imlie as these show have done amazing from the start.
