What happened was enough to tell me that he's anything but innocent and he's an incredibly selfish person.

Anyway, Suzanne is kind to him publicly, but how would you know how she really feels about it and whether she fully got over it? That's something nobody knows. Remaining friends does not necessarily mean you forgot everything. People forgive but the hurt doesn't go away easily.
