Raghav as a character...

Raghav has always craved for love.. always ..

Be it his mom his sister and now his wife..

And when he got it all now what it brought also is a fear..

Love and fear go hand in hand . Fear of losing that love.. which he always craved for ...

He lived a lonely life.. a life where he was just making money but nobody to share his pain his happiness with . .. he was alone and had no hope what so ever. But suddenly when he got his Amma back his sister back he got the fear of loosing them back !!!!

Be it the keerti case.. he was ready to sacrifice himself..for it. .

Be it in mandhar case too. His only fear was losing pallavi ..

His only concern was he doesn't want to be left alone again... Everytime he comes drinking his words were always nobody loves me . Nobody wants me ... I am bad that's why people don't want me..

I feel for him yaar. His past has been very cruel to him. His guilt is now also intact. But what he is not understanding that in the fear of losing someone you can't break the trust !!!!!

Trust is the base of any relationship ! If itz broken how can someone be alright????

I find Raghav very complex but that the beauty of his character. He now also has to understand that pallavi loves you trusts you .. she will never judge you. She has loved him even more after knowing his past. She didn't judge him during that tym also when he was revealing his past! Then why Raghav why you are afraid!? Why ??? Does love bring insecurities ? Does love make us do this ???

Wonderfully written !!! fear and love go together.. right now Raghav is going through his worst fear loosing Pallavi which will shatter him !!!
And yes he should have told the truth to Pallavi … damage intna nahi Hota.. but that’s what is Raghav as you said .. complexed character !! He always felt people judge him .. that’s not gone out of his mind

To be honest while writing this only song going in my head was tabah hogaye.. am I getting very involved or what !!!!

He is under desperation, as he has fear of losing is love , hence end up lying, a quick fix. But he hasn't realized a quick fix are not permanent solution which is going to cause him.

But this is business, he is not such as a person. The way he handles his business it's his decision. Unfortunately this time it cause someone life, which had never happen before. So to mitigate such incidents, he has stop all his dealings.

He has never broken Pallavi trust, but previously all were personal, now it's a professional, hence he is stuck.

Frankly, the makers I think are he'll bent in showing Raghav as criminal, sinner instead of someone who needs to realize the impac of his ideologies and change his way which could have been executed without any fear of losing Pallavi. By killing abhishek, they have made raghav look like murderer in everyone including pallavi eyes, hence he is not coming clean about his tax evasion. If abhishek did not die, and Pallavi knowing the truth, he would have come clean, told her this is real world, moral science looks good in books only etc, which will make pallavi determined to show consequences of his actions and then correct him.

This fear of loosing loved ones must be resolved for Raghav by the time this jilebi track ends. The guy has had enough trauma to last a lifetime hence his impulse to safeguard himself from that pain. The way he goes about conducting his professional life, well may be some tweaks here & there keeping the RR personality intact. Pallavi also must learn how real life works, traumas effect perspectives & she must become his strength rather than a weakness for him which in turn makes him hide things fearing her judgment. Their imperfect personalities is what completes them when they are together. Both are unique, flawed!!

Pallavi holding him ransom on the basis of trust will not work with viewers, not with me at least because a relationship should involve both parties to give & take. Pallavi also broke him many times with her attitude & behaviour in the Mandar track, which is still unresolved & unspoken about by both of them. It's not going to be easy, a fine line for makers to walk. Raghav is not a rehabilitation project for Pallavi. To strike a chord with the viewers both have to learn. But going by how guilty Raghav already feels & like in one of the above comments he is coming across a person who has sinned & needs to repent. I am curious to see how this gets sorted, without becoming preachy.

Raghav is someone whose past has made him a paranoid person!! Like any paranoid person he gives into his fear rather than trusting the person he loves!! He let's his fear rule and judge everything as he always expects the worst from everyone !! His past made him suspicious and to expect worst from everyone!! Now that he is in love he needs to understand that love alone is not enough for a relationship to survive!! You need trust also to keep it intact!!
