The kind of person you are is defied by the way you treat others. I definitely have a problem with the way she speaks to Anupama. The way she was trying to establish familiarity with Anuj Kapadia does not seem to demonstrate great intelligence too.
To me she would definiely be in the Idiots category.

But my point here was that the entire shah family makes a huge deal out of everything she says even when she is right (ofcourse she is ALWAYS condescending in the way she speaks) and starts giving her lectures about sanskaar and how they have self respect and dont talk nonsense in front of family and elders but then they will go and prove her opinion about themselves right.
Rakhi had mentioned something about a divorce earlier in front of the entire family and they made such a big deal out of it like how it is shamelessness to be talking about that in front of baa bapuji. But 50 yr old vanraj in an age when he should be busy playing with his grandchildren and changing their diapers was romancing kavya in his BEDROOM. That wasnt shameless?
They have such orthodox and regressive ideas of moral and family values and try to shove it onto every other person.
Rakhi has a caustic tongue agreed. But they are themselves giving her more chances to taunt and humiliate them. I have lost count of number os instances where they could have actually made rakhi shut up for once and all by doing something logical but they just wont do that.
I too am not very fond of the way she talks to anupama but she does sometimes speak facts and if only the shahs leave this superiority compelx about their "sanskaars" and actually pay attention to what she is saying and try to prove her wrong they will make rapid growth.
