I personally feel so. Falling for her own abuser out of helplessness, fear of abandonment because of loneliness in life, having none in the world, emotionally dependant because she's an orphan.

I'd love to hear yall out tho. Tagging few!

I have in my replies to many posts have said the same

Here the chains that hold are psychological and emo.

She craves care and respect and since he is her only fam I guess she overlooks everything since she does not want to be alone

I wouldn't call it Stockholm Syndrome.

But yes, she has become emotionally dependent on him. She craves his love and acceptance now. Probably, if she hadn't married him, she would've been able to handle herself.

She has noone and he is her only family. Which is probably why he treats her this way. He knows she has noone to stand up for her as family.

She has not seen otherwise... the other side of the life...she never got an opportunity...If she was still there after seeing the other side, better men(for herself), better family I would call it stockholm syndrome.

I don't think it's Stockholm syndrome.

Sai has had the misfortune to marry Virat before she had a chance to experience life. And they say a girl's mind is like clear water. It takes whichever colour you throw into it.

She feels more like an emotionally dependent person than a victim of a Stockholm syndrome & there is nothing wrong with it because she's so young. Most teenagers have financial & emotional dependency on an adult who was KJ for her and because of the huge support Virat projected to her due to which she has grown to rely on him more than anyone in this world it has gotten very difficult for her to imagine or break free from the shackles of all these relationships she has built and grown to love to a certain extent.

That Virat has changed his stance and support to her makes her more emotionally weak & it will take her a long time to accept that he is not the person she thought him to be (no unconditional love like her father, his love is conditional if she is ok with forgiving all the abuse thrown her way till now).
