I think Ganesh Chaturthi...The get up is not normal..The bindi is traditional Maharashtrian..they wear only when there is function.

Karishma is not from less fortunate background. From what it looks like, her maiden home is decently rich. She is not given respect because she is not shahanv kuli maratha, not even Maharashtrian and that Mohit and woh had eloped.
