Yes I was wondering that when I saw him in the original pic from the airport and then again in the dinner video where PD is singing Suhaani Chaandni Raatein. Wonder whether these 20 songs are being converted to a series for OTT?

Freemantle has plans to launch scripted shows on digital platforms. They are planning to do high-end drama.

Don't know if what Octopus is working on is high-end drama. I hope not!! 🤣

I was checking their India and global websites. They do content distribution as well, in addition to owning these reality shows like Idol, Got Talent, and so on.

Last year there was this series on Prime called Bandish Bandits which was largely about music / singing. Maybe Fremantle is conceptualizing something similar here. Bandish Bandits was created, written and directed by Anand Tiwari. I wonder if he and Akash Tiwari are related - a quick Google Search didn't throw up much, and neither did Akash Tiwari's followers / following list on IG.

During the Octopus launch, some random journalist asked him that if you meet the PM what song will you sing. He struggled to answer till Raj Surani intervened and said don't ask such unrelated questions, and then the conversation moved on 😆
