So I'll just put in my two cents:

Yesterday I was searching for Fahad Mustafa's interview where he said Danish is overated/overactor. I didn't find that, but he said a few things regarding producing and stuff which kinda resonates here.

As a producer, he is interested in making content that will get him good ROI, and its not necessarily a good story with a strong message. At the end of the day they make what works with the audience...and what gets the channels TRPs. So sometimes even after working on a good project, you might get a terrible one. Like Danish got Deewangi and then Meharposh. Also, once an actor signs the contract, then they cannot fight or argue over any changes, they just have to perform it the way it is.

Coming to Ishq Hai, its pure entertainment and should not be taken inspiration from for the real world. And this show is 100% made for Minal's image control after Jalan. Otherwise can you imagine a 20-something girl being so dumb and having no idea of what a guy's intensions are? There are 12-13 year olds who have more brain cells than Isra. 😆 That's why if you notice the first and second half, its only Isra vs the rest of the world. Even though the story moves forward because of Shahzaib and the people in his life.

Its clear that they got Danish on board because lets be honest, do you think this show would've created such an impact if it were any other actor? He invested so much in the character and made Shahzaib so real, that people have legit stuck till the end for him. No offense to any other actor, but no one had it in them to make Shahzaib so memorable. Who else would've bulked up solely for a 30-something-episodes show and tried such a different hairstyle with little to no facial hair? He literally let Shahzaib look older than he is, whereas other actors try and look younger as they age. Such is his dedication.

The only people here to blame are the writers, directors and makers for not staying consistent. They basically got a Trump Card on board but did not utilise it to the fullest. But they got what they wanted, the goal for making this show is successful.

And coming to Danish...he's only gained fans in the process, and immense respect to him for trying something so different. To bring an otherwise dud show to these heights is just epic. It shows his acting prowess. All I know is that no matter how the storylines of his show are in the future, Imma watch it because....

Ashley, but still i feel danish needs to start associating with the best of the best in the industry. Working with Fahad and Rehana kind of people, uska kya hi exclusivity badegi?

Genuine question: is Danish considered an A lister? Or how is he categorised as? Popular? Is his acting taken seriously? Asking especially after this Fahad guy has taken pot shots at him. So yeah in short what is Danish's image in the industry or standing in the industry perceived as?
