Yes these awards functions are joke only. There is a saying hathi k daat dikhane k alag and khane k alag. Same applied here. Votings are dikhane k and pr stuffs are khane k. I heard it from my cousin who is in entertainment industry. Eg Indian television academy awards, the time it was telecasted in colors many colors shows bags the awards. Now it's on sony so sony serials grabbing the awards. Many such examples are there. Even hina in her live once told all are edited (she didn't use the word scripted I think to avoid controversy). She told vote for your favourites and enjoy.

So those who are voting, vote for fun but don't get disappointed if your favourite will not win.

@bold: exactly. Enjoy the content when they win. But don’t think that it shows who’s worthy or talented. It’s all a game. I just like getting new pics and hearing interviews. Otherwise awards are dumb, especially in ITV!
