They need to pay way more attention to Aai as a character if she's going to be the only elder figure adored enough to comment on small aspects of their relationship.
I think it's the writers who mess her scenes up, they don't write her consistently. Bharati ji essays her character well. Aai was so furious at the ousting and they made her mouth dialogues like choti si Ann bann hogayi thi!
She should be proud and happy that her DIL doesn't want to live her life being financial dependent on her husband but look at the expression here🤦
Ashwini is a good mother in law to Sai since the day one but definitely NOT a good mother to Sai.. Their bond is pure but as saas and Bahu that's it.. But ashwini is quite empathetic towards Sai since she is an orphan.. She sees Sai and Virat as Ninad and Herself.. She wants to show the world that her son in nothing like his father even she keeps saying that whenever virat ends up doing something stupid..though I find nothing wrong in that because in real world that's exactly how it is.. She knows Sai has the capabilities to put everyone at their place and also She is the only right girl for her son..A mother knows her child more than anyone ..She knew it well just for zimmedari Virat won't take such big step hence there are more to it.. Thats why since the day one she was positive about her son's marriage..She is just being a selfish mother for Virat who only wishes her sons happiness..See even she was almost asking to take Sai along with him knowing that Sai might have to leave studies..
