Same. I remember when I first saw Pallavi I loved her sarees bcz it ws like her personality embedded in it . And dt is why I love the scenes more where Raghav appreciates her beauty in her natural look.......dt is in those maharastrian sarees.

If you will ask thw writers.....they will say it ws Amruta's dress which Pallavi borrowed😆. And yes these situations are made up , so that Pallavi gets a chance to adorn western looks. Also I dont understand why does it alwys hv to be a black dress or saree😆. I am sure Shivangi will hot in any other color as well.

She didn't look hot to me in the black saree or the gown. It was as if my brain knew the intention was to make her look hot but it didn't come through. Also I don't get this idea that you need specific types of clothes to depict hotness. A person can be hot no matter what they wear. It's more the way you carry yourself, your demeanor that makes you hot, not the clothes themselves.

My 2c. I'm sure there are many people who feel differently. To each his/her own.

I dont like her dress in today epi. You are right makers made her wear this dress just to change her look or to please the fans. This dress didn,t suit her personality I also like her in her simple look and sarees specially she looked so beautiful during initial episodes with minimum makeup and simple sarees. Vat savitri par bhi wo bahut maharashtrian saree me bahut beautiful lag rahi thi she does n,t need such dresses to look beautiful

One more thing is aaj ke epi me use ye backless dress pehnne ki jarurat bhi nahi thi nail incident wale epi me to raghav ne use surprise diya tha aur wo chahta tha ke wo usi time wo dress pehenkar dikhaye bcs usne ek date plan ki thi us din am i right? I am sure its done bcz a lot of the audience likes to see her in western clothes and find it hot.

But I am wid you on this. The first time Raghav gave her the dress......I had the exact same thoughts. Like why is it needed for a FL to be in western clothes or short dresses to make her look more attractive. I personally find it incredibly romanctic if beauty and attraction superceeds clothing. I mean I would hv loved it their romantic scenes didnt require her to look different everytime.

But I do get why they do it though. So I hv never complained.

Oh and I personally didnt like today's dress either.

See when she wears sarees they give her those typical hairstyles too. She also has different facial expressions as if to reinforce that plain Janeness if you know what I mean.

If she were to wear a saree but have a glamorous hairdo like she does with gowns it would change her look completely.

FL hairstyles are usually uninteresting in ITV.

Asj ke epi me pallavi backless dress ke ilawa koi aur modern dress bhi pehen sakti thi ya gown simple bhi ho sakta tha what was the need of backless dress aisa laga jaise fans ko impress karne ke liye pehnayi hai.

My take on clothes...a woman should have the freedom to wear whatever she wants...without the pressure of family and society, without the fear of being judged!! The clothes should not affect the respect she gets in the world. If Pallavi loves sarees..yes..no one should force her otherwise. If she wants westerns..her choice should be respected. Its really unfortunate how certain kind of clothes are equated with being character less or loose morals or being desi and behenji n our society. I have seen plenty of women being criticsed and condemned for wearing certain kind of clothes, traditional or revealing..no one bothers to give the real person a chance because we judge by what we see, period!!

I agree, she can wear what she wants. Her life her choice. I just don't like writers associating traditional wear with being boring or failing to make a woman hot, because that was the implication in those scenes. As with western wear I also fully respect a woman's choice to wear traditional clothes. She can look hot/beautiful in it too. The behenji association with sarees in the episode left a bad taste and demeans women who like that attire, ironic considering how important a role sarees play on this show.
