Personally I liked the initial Sanjay’s track… he was a good villain…I even liked Hina as komolika..I also liked P standing up for herself..but later on show went haywire.. I stopped watching around Mr.bajaj’s entry..

one of my friend did not like initial episodes but loved Anurag-Komolika banter post leap .. I never watched it… overall reboot was horrible.. and that kid … omg… erica-parth are so young and that kid looks like a younger sister to Parth .. not a daughter at all…I am glad he decided to opt out resulting in show being shut down…

almost every Important character got replaced..

Karan Grover with Karan Patel as Mr Bajaj…

(KP was good in YHM as hot headed Raman bhalla but Mr. Bajaj’s character is very cool headed and authoritative.. I think KSG was best suited for that role.. the only issue that I have with both of these choice is height difference between Mr. Bajaj and Anurag… Ronit Roy and Cezzane Khan was of similar height so their face offs did not look weird

but Parth is quite tall and KSG-KP were not that tall .. their confrontation scene especially the closeup ones look funny to me … because Parth has to hunch and kSG has to stretch himself

The casting wasn't good except for the pairing. Maybe the continuous replacements were the main problem but the reboot failed badly even after having so much hype.

in that love story, the only stupid thing was, Anurag was a coward and hypocrite … he claimed to love prerna but never trusted her … he married komolika.. even consummated and Komolika was briefly pregnant…after prerna .. he married aparna and a string of other ladies… but kids he had only with Prerna..and none of those kids take his name as their father…

First Prem was dead and was born to an unmarried Prerna

Sneha always considered Mr bajaj as her father and even told him that she wants him to be her real father in next birth..

second Prem aka Yudi took her mother’s maiden name as Prem Prerna Sharma…

its a tragic but beautiful story … quite modern for its time..

Personally, I don't like the concept of changing surname and taking up husband's surname. But in MHRW, Pallavi's case makes sense. She's most probably not a Sawant, never truly was a Deshmukh. She could be her true self only after marrying Raghav or more specifically after crossing paths with him.

But still I wish her to have her own identity, not based on someone else's surname.

KZK2 had a good cast. Both Erica and Parth looked so good as a pair , even had a good chemistry but the show was so ghista pita. Ekta didnt even make the effort to change the story to suit a modern audience . She thought people will still like the age old romance where leads marry numerous times .

Thankfully she was proven wrong and show failed .

So as long as Ekta remakes that show.......Saishi should never be a part of it.

no man she twisted the story completely… and made a mockery out of it… Shweta’s Prerna was strong and self made.. Erica’s prerna was all tashan and no actual efforts …(no offense I loved Erica-Parth pair totally.. I have issues with the story)

if you read just the synopsis… original was quite modern .. way ahead of its time.. Nivedita used to wear western formals for office … and no heavy jewelry.. whereas new Nivedita was wearing so much jewelry and clothing choices are so outdated for new Mohini…

there was a sharp contrast in the character sketches…

as if the reboot is more regressive than the original one..

even if they copied line to line from original, it would have worked wonders but once anurag got married to komolika and prerna came to basu house as Anurag’s wife … then show started going haywire.. as I said they repeated same cycle

I too had problem wid the story only.

Nah nah .....I hv watched KZK original. If not completely .....still I hv watched enough to know how the story went. I was a kid den. But I remeber all 4 wives of Anurag😆 ( Komo , Prerna , Aparna and sampada)

Thing is I never much liked the original story either. Prerna's character was stronger den.....agreed but Anurag was weak in dt. Never liked him. And story wise also I wasnt a fan of old KZK. But wid the new cast I had a better expectation.

Honestly I hv this problm. Sometimes while seeing promos I imagine the story outline and when the story doesnt meet the expectations ...... I feel disappointed. Dt ws the case wid KZK2. I loved the initial promos but story didnt live upto it.

Also agreed abt the costumes. Old KZK had such class for a show at dt tym. New one .....the costumes of whole Basu family was outrageous

good they r not ekta leads, if they were, then they would never get together😵😵

if by mistake got together, then..another person would come & he/she would become lead for them

she made first season also crap by later on😵😵, 2nd season...i never even bothered to c its promo too
