How are you all? I'm making a discussion post here after ages I guess!

I know that SaiRat lost their charm ages ago, and for me, it was lost right after the manhandling and denying food incident, but the glimpses of Neil and Ayesha chemistry still made me hold on. But the day I decided that I was done with Sai and Virat as a couple was when Pakhi made that nurse wali comment, and Virat just stood and watched.

I just hate how Virat easily gets away with everything that he has done, just because he sheds a few tears and shows *fake* repentance, only to repeat the same mistake again, or do something worse. Whereas Sai does one thing wrong, and she has to face the worst of it, be it from the Chakram gang, Pakhi and Virat himself.

And I also hate the fact that Sai's character is slowly losing its essence, only because she's in love with Virat and she cannot leave him. Sai is made to seem like a joke in front of everyone from the man who claims to "love" her, and she simply stands there and takes it with a betrayed look on her face.

I personally feel that Sai and Virat are just too toxic for each other, and it is mentally draining to watch them.

And for those who say that we should enjoy what we get because they are "just a fictional couple". No. Sometimes, fiction and pop culture influence people too. And showing toxic equations like these as true love, will make people stick to toxic relationships till things so sour.

If I were the writer of GHKPM, I would have just let the toxic Chavans including Virat be, and let Sai move as far away from them as possible.

Let me know what you guys think.

Love,

Niya

You know the thing is if anyone's had the misfortune of coming across someone like a Virat with a God complex these thoughts go way deeper. I speak from certain experiences and there is nothing worser than a partner doing unacceptable things and then manipulating everyone around to believe their twisted version of truth. It is so mentally disturbing, there aren't enough words to explain this. Tears are never the way out of real life problems (not depreciating them in any manner but there is only so much a person will cry without being affected or lost), better actions and improvement in the scope of overall behaviour are absolutely necessities or the other partner will leave at some point or another. Seeking help is the first step to moving ahead in life if there is constant negativity around a person's mind.

Toxic humans have this rinse repeat way of functioning. Do mistakes, blame others, don't accept when confronted with facts, victimize self, call-out others as the source of your troubles, go on doing self destructive actions in the name of greater good & this in a way instills a belief in the other person that it is them that is doing something wrong. No amount of reasoning can help such people till they don't have self realisation of where their actions are going wrong no matter how much love exists between the two involved.

An awakening, insistence of not settling for not being respected enough and self belief to walk out is the only way to save oneself from such partners.

I'm not saying Virat has gone to absolute extremes, he still has ways of working things out for himself and Sai but there is so much growth they both will have to make in each other's thought processes, self beliefs and trust factors to even start being in a healthy space.

Two people come out together from a toxic relationship to a healthy space if ever it happens, these things are never a one way street. Mentally, both people in the relationship get affected by one person's anger issues/hypocrisies etc.

It would have been so much more beautiful to watch two people in love having these realisations, working on them to better their lives and moving on to a positive space to live better.

The only way to ship Sairat as soulmates or live to die for is to assume them making these progressive steps in our heads I guess

I liked them but shipped not really

Sometimes it's not what u say but how u said it or did it

Sometimes staying silent when u r partner is emo abused is sad

When u Gaslight or manipulate u r partner by withholding affection or basic needs or push them away when they do not behave in the pattern u want them to

The start was

My heart broke right when that mirchi kutna incident happened. He expected her to put with with toxicity since they were adults.

The way he forced when she wanted to meet Pulkit

And after that it's downhill.

But I do like Sai as a character upto now ..

There's something called "remote" use it, everyone will be happy. You can watch what you like, similarly others too. Just a free suggestion, world is too small a place for hate.

Yes, the only reason I am still watching is sairat specifically because of the actors.

My interest in the story is to see the fruition of their love, even when I am disappointed in the writing or execution, Neil and Ayesha make up for their faults. Sometimes I wish Neil and Ayesha could act out the scenes that the forum writers come up with
