"Repetition and Nonsense"

Today's episode was one where not much really happened, so I'm going to give an overview.

Om and Parvati:

Lots of OP scenes, most of which involve them bickering goodnaturedly, and seem to have the same theme in them: Om joking that he doesn't feel old, and is young enough to battle with the best of them [I wonder whether this is some kind of foreshadowing...?]

In Benares, Om and Parvati go to the main aarti; Om goes to get prasad for the puja.

Tannu and Shruti:

Tannu is shocked to see Shruti in the office, and asks her what she's doing there. Shruti tells her that she owns this modelling company, and she was the one who selected Tannu for this assignment. She knows that no one in Agarwal House would be happy for Tannu, but she (Shruti) understands her viewpoint. She is happy to support Tannu in her career and watch her become a good model.

Tannu comments on how no one in AG House seems to talk about Shruti, and bitterly, Shruti replies that if they talked about her, they would have to remember all of their mistakes. She remembers some scene from the rape track, when she wanted to forgive Pranay, but Parvati wouldn't let her. In the present, Shruti says that they couldn't handle her truth and so threw her out of that house [Huh?! When the hell did that happen? Last thing we saw was Shruti plotting to bring Om home, why in the world would Parvati throw her out of her own home?]. Shruti tells Tannu to forget all that; she has forgiven and forgotten all of it. She asks Tannu how she likes modelling, and Tannu says that she loves it, but Parvati Mamma seems to have a problem with it [funny, I don't recall that - wasn't it Parvati who facilitated her job here?!]. Shruti rolls her eyes and says that it is a bad habit of Parvati's, but not to worry, she is here for Tannu. She almost tells her that Tannu is her daughter, but stops and changes tack. She tells Tannu to go down to the car and she will drop her home. Alone, Shruti thinks to herself that she will now use Tannu to destroy the AG family [okay, what the hell?! This cannot be Shruti, seriously! First of all, she would never use her own child like that, and secondly, how can she have so much hatred for the entire AG family?!]

Shruti drops Tannu outside AG House, and seems upset. Tannu invites her in, but Shruti says that the family don't want to see her. Tannu asks her to come and see Mamma, meaning Gunn, at least. Shruti is wary; she asks Tannu if she feels bad for her "mamma" (meaning herself, I guess). Tannu suggests telling the AG family about Shruti, but Shruti says that they will do that later. Tannu leaves, and Shruti watches her go.

GISA:

Ishan is packing his bags, and tells Shivangi she is going with him. He acts romantic, and tells her that its only for the night. He seems really happy.

Ishan has brought Shivangi to Simla for a romantic getaway, but she retorts that he is lying to both of them. He has come to Simla because Gauri is here [aww😳😆].

Shivangi and Ishan are treading awkwardly around each other; Ishan tries very hard to keep her happy...offering to go for a walk, etc, but she behaves rudely. She tells him she is hungry, and they go to dinner.

At dinner, Shivangi asks if Ishan is looking for Gauri; he asks her what her problem is. He is about to continue when Ashu and Gauri enter the restaurant. Ishan tries to continue talking to Shivangi, but even as he is answering her question, his eyes keep darting back towards Gauri, until Ashu and Gauri spot them, and he looks down. They all try to act normal; Shivangi invites G-A to sit with them. She keeps teasing Ishan about Gauri, and he seems quietly embarassed.

Final scene:

Parvati is with the pandit-ji, waiting for Om to return. There is a storm brewing, and Parvati is worried. Om returns, and as he is coming up to meet Parvati, gets dizzy. As per the precap, he falls down the stairs and into the stormy sea. Parvati rushes down, as does everyone else around them, and she screams his name. As she begs someone to help him, Om's body is swept away by the tide.

Precap: Some pujaris (can't tell if they are the same as the ones with Parvati) are doing a puja when Om's body floats towards them. They pull him out.

Comments: I doubt they would kill off Om now that they brought him back, and esp. considering the way that they brought him back. But I wonder what is up with this track; is he going to have amnesia again? What exactly is the point of repeating this track?

What the hell is up with this Shruti track?!! That has got to be the most random thing I've seen yet. Why would the AGs throw Shruti out of the house, but keep Sameer there? Hell, why would Parvati throw her own daughter out? The flashback scene that Shruti remembered was from the rape track, because Shruti was dressed in the same clothes as then; this was when she told the AGs that Pranay and Maithili should still live together, because they were husband and wife. That was not a new scene, and since then it was Shruti who went against Pranay. So why would she now have a problem with that decision? And though she was nothing but loving and supporting towards Tannu, why the heck would she have so much hatred for the AGs? I have a feeling there is more to this story than we think - that can't be Shruti. I refuse to believe that the writers of this show would make such disgusting and terrible bloopers TWICE in the same week - once with Vijay Agarwal and Parvati's supposed memory loss 18 years ago, and now with Shruti leaving the house. It's pathetic, and stupid, and I hope to hell the writers have a decent plan, because what with that and the Om-falls-into-the-sea idiocy, this show is sinking, fast (pun intended).

Today's Top Players: No one; As you can probably tell from the update title, I was just plain furious with today's episode, and all the useless and random tracks shown today, that no one has shone out. Today's episode was not Kahaani - every single person is acting out of character. I wonder if the "creative team" of Kyunki has taken over writing today's episode: this Amnesia-Sea-Revenge filler nonsense has Kyunki written all over it.

I totally agree with you it was a kyunki stle filler episode. Writers are probably eciding which way to take each characters track 😡 . What the hell is wrong with shruti? 🤢 I doubt it is shruti. Maybe Gayatri has returned in an new avtaar 😆

OMG Om will loose his memory again.

well...before when they showed om was dead..and everyone believed that parvati killed him...from that time Shruti's image is totally changed. before she was such a good daughter and suddenly everything changed...when she came to know that Parvati is not the killer still she is so bad...always badmouthing and bickering to Parvati....she is a bad daughter.....

Sorry to all Shruti fans...this was just my view...but still this is just a serial....in reality i dont think this can happen...but still can anybody imagine having a daughter like shruti....

Can't the writers be a bit more creative? This drama is becoming boring and repetitive.

I pity you Vasu 😳 .....you had to see the entire episode to do the update 😆 .....thanks for the title of update.......I will give this a miss...I miss Saasha a lot now 😭 😭 😭

well om is drowned 😛 last tym it was om who saved paro frm drowning rite..n now he cudnt save himself 🤢 poor thing .......n paro....she shud hav lrnt swimming tht way she cud hav saved om 😆 now she will have to go thru the troma of searching om again 😛(my advice don't waste ur tym searching om paro dear...he will return on his own 😆 )
As for shruti.well mayb she is also suffering frm amnesia 😛 forgot evrything about wat happened aftr pranayz jail..... 😆 😆 😆 n as for the creativez i guess they too r suffering frm amnesia......forgetting tht they hav already shown this track 🤢 this serial shud b renamed as "kahani amnesia patients kii" 😆 😆 😉.
