Virat as a brother

Virat is not a good brother to any of his siblings. He didn't do anything to ameliorate Devis abuse. He blindly obeyed Kaku. When Sai revealed the truth he acted on half baked information. Mind it he is an ACP

He withheld the truth about Pakhi to Samrat. Lied to him despite Samrat persuading him multiple times to reveal the truth. His SIL is confessing her love and he wants her to give a second chance to his brother. Whatever foundation they made for him being a brother willing to die for Samrat was lost when he tried to leave Samrat in orphanage. Sai compelled him to return

Mohit is the neglected child who couldn't prove his worth compared to Samrat and Virat who made family proud. He was taunted for his incompetence. Its only when Sai bought this mudda he acknowledged it.

Summary- Virat doesnt seem to be a family man as the show suggests. He failed to take a stand for his mother as well. Changes were brought in only when Sai intervened be it in Samrat, Mohit or Devi.

Question- Why are FL's shown to fix every malady in sasural

Virat is bound to ensure law and order and justice in society. If he is made into such a meek MCP what's the point of showing him as an ACP

I am sorry did I say Mohit, Devi or Samrat is the best brother or sister?? This topic was specific to Virat. Its a mutually exclusive topic. I have no high opinion of Mohit or Samrat but they are not the ML of the show that I invest time in analyzing them. I fail to understand the protectiveness for characters that everytime a shortfall is pointed out every other character will be blamed.

None is denying Virats upbringing. However that isn't a lifelong excuse. He didn't have good parents. Mohit, Samrat and Virat are raised in toxic environment. Virat crossed the threshold of extreme toxicity in his behavior towards Sai. Mohit and Samrat will never oust their wives ta midnight. Samrat could have easily done that with Pakhi. That's where I judge them.

You seem to be so defensive about Virat that every other brother is blamed where my topic didn't mention any of it. I agree Samrat didn't care for his mother, he still doesn't. Nah I am not surprised. Except Devi all of them have a knack to follow their parents. Virat exhibited Ninads traits. Some soft spot because of Ashwini. Mohit was jealous of his elder brothers. Samrat is a coward however I don't have a comparison. Luckily Devi didnt follow Bhavani. Her dad gets talken about with so much adulation. She inherited goodness from him

Sorry to quote you but no-one really cares about the other Cs. We have zero expectations from them. But, Virat is the ML and naturally we expect more from him. As a brother, he is really disappointing till now. I'll wait to see what he says in tomorrow's epi. Any good brother would have been fighting for pakhi and his divorce by now.

I don't expect any character to be perfect. I didn't imply it anywhere in my post. If he was perfect there was no need to discuss him. If he has shortcomings that will be discussed that's what forum is for I assume. When his shortcomings are pointed blaming others doesn't make sense. You brought in other brothers but this topic wasn't about them. His family is toxic, he is imperfect, he is the hero and he is being discussed. I am in agreement about other sons of Chauhan Nivas but this isn't for them
