No none of it is true.....their compensation is pretty much guarded

Oh okay because otherwise the pay scales of known faces are all over the internet especially KzK2 actors, it was well known in the media circles that KSG charged 3 lakhs per episode.

I think they do get paid handsomely. I hear Tarak Mehta actors (leads) make a lot of money - like 1.5 Lakh or 2 lakh per episode.

Even 40-50 k isn't bad. That's like 300k in a week and 1.2 m in a month, which is especially really good for new comers. In the corporate world, those who earn a seven figure salary have to practically work their asses off.
