Guys, just wanted to share my views.
Jokes apart, mustn't we all agree Ashok is a fab actor. He is truly commendable. He is to be appreciated as much as SaiShi. I have my reasons for this. Aside from all quips, armour, Don-giri, Raghav is an essentially a very good man. He has a heart of gold. Pallavi may be headstrong but she is a gem of a girl. She is a very very nice human being who takes care of all people all around her. She is someone whom everyone admires and loves. They are very good people. But Mandaar is not like that. He is a pyschopath, creep, a person who leers and physically and mentally harasses a woman knowing she is married, all for his satisfying his obsession. He is truly a despicable human being. I feel, stepping into the shoes of a good person is not that difficult. It must be easier for one because SKR himself said that he is close to RR. Same for Shivangi. But Ashok must be a very sane and nice person in nature. But in lieu of this character he must act and step into the shoes of pyschopath for almost 12 hours a day. Imagine that, it is very emotionally draining. And apart from this, social media pressure where some people forget the difference between reel and real and send out hate messages. I think the doctors here will agree that would definitely leave a mark in his mental health. Poor guy may even need therapy sessions to get Mandaar out of his head. It takes a lot of lot of mental work and hardwork to get into the shoes of a negative character. It is not difficult to be Sunny. Because he is just a gold-digger and selfish AF. I have read many interviews where the actors struggle to come out of the negative vibes upto some days. He managed to creep us out the second day he came in. He did say he would have a grey character but CVs changed his character track to a greater extent. He had to adapt to that too.
I just felt like airing my views here. This does not mean I like Mandaar. I hate him to bits. Jitna usko saaza mile woh bhi kam hai, just like any other RaghVi fan out there. But not Ashok.
He deserves a appreciation for his truly good acting. Great job mister!!
I am sorry if I'm offending anybody.
