They should have made him a normal positive guy and then slowly turned him negative for the getting back Pallavi instead of an obsessive man. He was totally underutilized despite the excessive screentime at the cost of Raghvi.
At least they could have shown him faking being positive initially if nothing much... Plus they should have set a proper base to this track instead of directly jumping to Mandar's obsession.

I agree the pacing is good which makes it a good watch. I'm glad we got this BTS so I'm more patient till next week till this ends.
They still showed explicit scenes which were unpalatable for me. I'm glad I've not seen the earlier show.
I agree with you on Swapnil. While the disguise was smart and he changed his body language etc but the attitude a cook threw to the owner of the house seemed so illogical. Agree if it's not for Amma, Farhad, Pallavi, Rama and even Sulo, his cover would have blown.
Swapnil's act could have been so much better. Since he couldn't talk, his mannerism and body language was all he had to live the character.. Those stupid sign languages he did.. was so.. meh! Giving those deadly glares and attitude to Mandhar ..why?It makes sense when Raghav does that.. but as Swapnil they had scope to make Sai be a completely different person..he could go comical or atleast behave like a cook..konse angle se cook lag raha tha..?

True that. The pacing is definitely good.
The explicit scenes were unpalatable for me too... and even I am glad that I didn't watch the earlier show.
The disguise was smart and he changed his body language too... But the attitude that he threw to Mandar was totally illogical. I have been wondering since day one as to why didn't Mandar find that weird or suspicious.

True that. Swapnil's act could have been much better than what was shown. He had to use his body language and mannerisms in that disguise...
Those sign languages were definitely stupid... At times, I even found those kinda OTT. (Maybe I'm the only one but that's it...)
And those deadly glares were a big point... As RR, those glares made complete sense but as Swapnil, they looked weird. Mandar should have actually had immediately started having some sort of doubts on him seeing his attitude and those glares.
They did have scope to make Sai a completely different person as Swapnil but he didn't even behave as a cook... comical to bahut door ki baat hai.
@nikita, I agree they should have shown him positive in the start and try to innocently separate Raghvi. Then the audience gets to know the truth and then Raghav and finally Pallavi. The built-up was totally off.
@vaishali, yes his demeanor was totally unlike a cook and attitude to Mandar totally out of the character. All those close encounters were so risky that M could have caught his ruse.

All depends on how long they are planning to run the show. Ved was also supposed to come back..he did but wasnt used well and now I have heard he is going another show which means he's not gonna come back. I dont know if Mandhar track got them any TRPs.. I dint like how the track was written.. the actor was good.
Agreed but Ved wasn't one of the main villains according to siku. But for him Mandaar is a threat to Raghvi and he's been already built up a good space for the character. Mandaar is a past story too that can be twisted well if the writers work hard.
