I think Virat and Patralekha would have had a decent married life. Because they are similar in many ways (superficially) and Patralekha is someone who is willing to do anything for him. So there will be less of conflict. Unless they are challenged with certain drastic situations.
But the problem lies in the fact that he has now got a glimpse of a different aspect of life, taste of a life that he had not experienced before, a different way of living. With Sai, Virat has seen a side of him that he either thought ever existed or he never let come forth. And similarly he has learnt to stand up and fight for what is right because of her. Whereas so far he would have avoided any sort of conflicts. But now that he has experienced this he is not willing to settle for anything else.
To out it more simply, its like you are sailing in a calm ocean at a regular mundane pace vs a thrilling roller coaster ride full of adventure.

Initially had the same views..but then after few episodes..I think she would not been that great...For example she sees him on TV on a mission ...a khatarnaak mission and she gets angry for not being informed about his whereabouts before leaving... and wants to call him then and there, she would have denied his mother to see if only one person was allowed....she would have also not let him follow his duty... his first principle.....When she would have issues with Ashwini..she would talk rubbish about her...and would not mind Ashwini getting taunted by family for the same...That again is apparent from the scene where when Sai is ousted she wants to talk about how Ashwini is weird to her own son...

Mostly she is extremely selfish..she says she would do whatever Virat wants....but that's not the case..in front of family whenever Virat has gotten angry on her , she has shouted equally at a louder voice ...if Virat was hers she would not have been this "I'll do whatever you want" person... Since he rejected her...and chose someone else over her .she is obsessed...that's her obsession talking, when she says I'll do anything for you...She would have also not tolerated Kaku being mean to her, which would have been the case if the bad bahu (Sai) was not in the house and would have preferred and also made Virat leave his family....without having much contact with them!

Ya agree. I see the point wrt to Patralekha. But without Sai, Virat would have easily given in. He wouldn’t get into any arguments or conflicts. He would have got used to her behaviour. He is adaptable that ways. My point was since he has not been exposed to a different way of living, so he wouldn’t have anything to compare or think about. He would be happy in his shell
