I have to say that mahira's acting, and the direction is saving the story. Aswad's character isn't fleshed out well and Kubra whilst shining as a whole, we aren't given an insight into her psyche too much which I think would help in understanding how the comparisons and need for attention has turned her into a person with no sympathies for mehreen. I have to say to a certain degree the lack of privacy afforded by mehreen and the rivalry between the cousins feels oddly familiar. I think that's an unfortunate relatable aspect.😆

I don't like the love triange angle at all. Mehreen's indifference towards Aswad would've been much better for her character!

Aswad's character dumbness is getting increasing day by day. This man believes mashal more than his mother.

My heart goes for mahreen. Mashal is such a evil bala

Aswad's work only to listen blindly and judge people 😆

The only character I can relate to, is khala lol. Even she knows her son is a total dumbass.

I’m still not feeling Aswad and Mehreen. I dont think they have any chemistry together. Mehreen and Safi though, uff 😳 They are so cute together!

They could have cast Ahmed Ali here given he is budget friendly

He would have killed it with Mahira and kubra

What surprises me is Ahmed Ali isn't conventionally good looking neither is he tall yet he is handsome has beautiful eyes and voice modulation which gives him an overall screen presence and he literally owns his heroines in every show sidelining the other hero which very few Actors has the capacity of pulling off

Not watching this show for romantic chemistry so its fine if Aswad-Mehreen or Aswad-Mashal dont have chemistry..I dont expect some gooey romantic scenes in this show anyway, since thats not the story.

Though I agree Ahmed Ali or even Wahaj would have been a good choice..I am actually keen to see how Wahaj would look with Mahira. I dont mind Usman, but its just that MK and Kubra are so damn good here that he feels like a weak link...but otherwise he is quite good looking and has a decent screen presence.

after watching Hassan-Amna's review, realized, even i found it damn odd that Mehreen's friend was teasing her still with Aswad😕😆 I dont think Mehreen would be allowed to keep a locker or lock her room - she has no agency to do such things in this house..otherwise some new bakheda can happen..I love the close up shots..feel like I can literally see the pain in Mehreen's eyes, envy and crazy in Mashal's and "main bahot bada clown hoo" in Aswad's eyes.

I do have a query though - why dint Salhya baaji adopt Mehreen 🤔

The whole drama seems so basic and I m not a fan of any of the three to continue. Pakistani drama needs to come out of this same old cousin rivalry.

I think mehreen said that Salehya shifted to kuwait..probably that's why she wasn't there for her..

I don't understand why khala is delaying the wedding talk with her son... When usman confronted mehreeens mom it was a good time to tell the son of her desire to make mehreen a bahu? Just building up misunderstanding...

Khala seemed sure her son will agree... Is she having doubts now?
