Creativr content should always be treated as creative content.

Yes showing regressive content is hard to palate at the end of the day, however, audience is hopefulyl smart enough go realize its television and not real life.

Its the same arugement i had with people dislikkng a movie like kabir singh and the whole dominating/DV discussion happening at the time were people wrote off the film entirely. The same thing ill say here. Content created should always he taken witha. Grain of salt. Its not meant to teach lessons. Hopefully people watching are smart enough to learn there lessons from real life not reel life. Take the content presented as character studies instead.

Pallavi (while writers havent done the best job in showing her charscter) is saying shed rather hurt herself than in anyways distance herself from her raghav. Trying to show her love as that strong

Same arguement can be made for raghav here. When is killing ever justified either? My pov its not. And theres no point in showing raghav hot headed constantly pulling a gun out and saying hell shoot someone. Also showing the wrong message. But hre we can forgo and give creative liberties cause thats his Don character.

My point is, its a show. Dont take so seriously. Idk. I personally hope audience is smart enough to realize its not olay in real life and watch the show as a show only and get their education in real life.

I totally get what you are saying. Its a creative medium and one should treat it as one and not let oneself get influenced by it. True. Absolutely correct.

But does it happen ? No. You and me may not get influenced by it. But many many people do get infleunced and do go and commit these things in real life. Like for example people hv actually taken inspiration from Kabir Singh and gone ahead and committed crimes.They even proudly claimed Kabir singh was their role model.

Since we are talking abt Kabir Singh. Let me say one other thing as well ( unrelated to the topic) .Things like Kabir Singh actually happen in medical colleges......where seniors mark a junior girl as theirs and threaten anyone who dares to date the girl. This is so problematic and real. But when a movie like Kabir Singh romanticizes it......such people who actually exist.....do get a moral boost . Which shouldnt be.

All over my point , as much as we say TV and Movies dont owe us any moral responsibity ,its not the case. Knowingly or unknowingly they have a huge responsibilty of getting out a better social msg. There are many minds which are now at the stage of moulding and whether we or the creatives like it or not......these are the things which creates faster imprints than lectures in lecture halls.

More so I am against the potrayal of "Greatness" by showing a FL going to the extent of thinking of "Self harm". Mahanta dikhao but aise hi....dts all I mean. On dt point yes Raghav ka baat baat pe gun utha lena is also wrong. Dese days I find it rather funny.

Govt and institutions should be pushing for better means of education.

Think of FF writers. Most FFs are crazyyyy. Many illogical, many follow dominanting submissive traits . But they are writing cause its fun and creative outlet for them. At the end of the day people are still reading and message is getting out sinilarly just not on a major front. These tv and movie writers are just putting it out massly but still are doing it cause they enjoy writing. Why give them added responsibilities of having to moral police?

Do we watch Marvel movies and Krissh for example or horror movies thinking . Or what moral are we making sure is placed out there? I doubt audiences are thinking "oh shoot is jadoo does came from space one day is this what will happen?".. most people watch for entertainment. So why can we not think same for tv shows and why do we consume content differently ?

Bcz it depends on how impactful the influence is. People dont like boring lectures and moral science classes .

But when their fav character or movie star or Tv star does something.....they immediately latch that on to their minds. Its a fact. We may not want it to be dt way but its how human mind works. Dts why govt hires Stars to promote vaccination, home quarantines bcz more than Docs , people will listen to them. As a rule......one should trust a Doc more on this , but people will trust stars on this more than their Docs.....bcz of influence.

Its like whether they like it or not, social responsibilty comes wid their job. Its a part and parcel of it.

Abt FFs , I dont really read much of it. But I hv written a few and of the few dt I hv read......I prefer not reading such content. Having said dt , I do get that people who write these , are a medium of letting out their thoughts. Completely alright. But you can never know dt people arent getting influenced by your words. Nobody is going to come and say it aloud.

Movies like Marvel and Krishh.....actually send out positive msges at large.....the win of good over evil. Thats for all superhero movies. People watch it cz they get that idea dt at the end the Good will win over.

Abt horror movies. Ryt ....they hv no msges. But in the story....you cn still get a sense of what they are calling as ryt and what they call as wrong. Unerlying msges. Atleast good horror movies hv dt.

See I am not saying dt MHRW is a show where they hv to preach all the time. But some issues are sensitive and should be handled wid much greater care. Thoughts abt burning hands for not signing divorce papers coming from lead like Pallavi is not progressive. Dts all.

See you found it romantic and like you many other will too. You may nt apply dt in real life but many others will. Just like people think cutting their wrists for love is romantic and do it in real.

Its defintely not a social show. But it did start wid dt msg only.

One need not cry buckets and say she was tortured to be inspiring. She was a widow who took the responsibilty for her in-laws .

Saying it again.....even if TV shows dont claim to be anything.....they do influence a lot of people. Emotional vulnerable people do take a lot away from show and stunts like dis. People write to showmakers how their show or a character has made them look at life differently or how they have been inspired. And I am not talking abt any social show.....talking abt daily soaps only. You never know what influences one. A lot of indian audience just watch these shows and take home some msg at the end of the day.

And even if she isnt an inspiration......I will still stick to the whole burning my hands thing as regressive for any show....even if its a comedy.
