I wish Devrath was selfish at that time...
Most probably he'd be demonized for prioritizing materialism and the kingdom of his god-like father.

Yes Duryodhana did have a sense of right and wrong, and somewhere I felt there was a kind caring heart in him as well. But he was egoistic and impulsive, and Shakuni's influence kept adding fuel to the fire
It's always so infuriating to read/watch him being swayed more and more!
True, it's so infuriating to read/watch Shakuni swaying Duryodhan, filling him with so much hatred and bitterness
This is a folklore. Shakuni had no major role in the Kurukshetra.Originally posted by: tournesol
Shakuni wished to avenge Dhritarashtra for Shakuni's father and brothers' death. Dhritarashtra had imprisoned his fathers, his brothers and him, and provided them the food of only one person. Shakuni ate the food, he lived for revenge, others died.
Then Mama Shakuni fanned jealousy in his nephews, or Dhritarashtra's sons, to brew a war that will destroy their dynasty like Dhritarashtra destroyed Shakuni's.

Mahabharat is imperfectly perfectly written
But still you always wonder what if...
Absolutely right, I can't believe Bheem wasn't the popular answer, he was the only husband who had cared for Draupadi the most.Draupadi loved Arjun the most, but Bheem was definitely the best husband ❤️
That's the beauty of world's greatest epic poetry. Debates and discussions around its events and characters will never end.Originally posted by: Amphitrite

I won't say Krishnaa loved Arjun the most
She loved all her husband's equally it's just maybe we're shown much of Arjun-Krishnaa more I guess

Is this true? I don't remember this at all...
I only remember him wanting revenge because his beloved sister was married off to a blind man.
